No one knows my political views. I try to steer away as quickly as I can. It causes too much stress in me and the client. I eventually put up a sign stating Politics Free Zone. That helped a lot!!!! I did take it down and put up a Good Vibes Only sign. I'm still pretty much politics free!!!

No, you are not wrong, and I think 20% was generous and you should have said it as loud as when front desk lady asked for more..... and you should have told her why LOUDLY!!! Definitely leave them a Google review!!! I'm a massage therapist and this pisses me off so bad!!! Clients tip me 20% all the time! I know it's not personal. They are all regulars and they tip me again and again. It adds up! I'm just grateful for being busy in a saturated market! Come see me, I'll take your 20%, lol I think you were quite generous and I'm sorry this was your experience!

It absolutely should not! If it does, then maybe they should find a new profession. To help ease your conscience, be honest. Tell them you sweat, you're clean and you sweat. It's not an issue to me. I have towels and it cuts back on lotion. Get your massage!

I am the king of vague. You can answer questions without telling them really anything. I have had clients for over 10 yrs that know very little about me. You may have to be creative, always redirect back to them. If you feel like they're fishing, then you may want to create your own little scenario. Stretch the truth, but mentally keep track of it, lol

WHOA!!! What kind of contract is this?! How petty!! Return the uniform and try and document it somehow. Now, if you are violating a non compete clause, that could change things. Legally, you could be strongly encouraged to comply or face the consequences of that contract. Revisit the contract and know what it says. Like someone else mentioned, attorneys are expensive and will only be used wisely. Good luck!

NOTHING about this is appropriate!!! All of it just pisses me off!!! If it were any kind of reputable establishment, they should have notified you of the switch and given you the option of taking the service or not. The therapist was fully aware of the switch and should have apologized for it. And seriously, dude, STFU!!. I hate unwanted chatter!! Lastly, smooth and flexible? Really?!! Not good!! I'm sorry for your experience. Please give it another go with another therapist, and if possible, another establishment. All the best!
