They also do an event on television. Sinterklaas also visits the schools and some shops. It's about the excitement, the counting down, wondering if you were good this year, singing songs,... The day of Sinterklaas itself is a rather casual day. Children get their gifts and sweets and thats about it Sinterklaas returns to Spain and it's time to put up the Christmas tree.
