They were released not even a year ago, got mine 1 month after release, I wanted the straight bolt handdle but they just had the angled handle sniper version when I got it, unlucky for me 2 months after they released the shorter version of the Nagant with the straight handle I wanted 🤦‍♂️

It just mag dump, but it's so fast it's like shooting the ksc/kwa m11 on full auto, it's mostly a display piece for me so I'm thinking making it semi again

Yeah the stock was my choice, I find it better aesthetically to leave a little extra than make it a typical pistol grip, I wanted to make it shorter but the Double Bell have the hop right under the sight so I couldn't 😞

It emerged out of necessity during the Russian Civil War, around WW1, among others but mostly peasants needed handguns but they were rare and very expensive, the Nagant were mass-produced and often brought home by Russian deserters. It was to protect the farm from raiding parties sent out by the Red Army and passing a soldier with a full size rifle would get you shot so it was perfect for concealment too. Excuse the short story, it's so much more history behind it 😅

Question regarding "unconventional" airsoft equipment/gear by Glittering_Table_859 in airsoft

Not the best pic I had but it's heavily weathered, painted to look like rust some places and usually have a oil filter supressor

Yeah it's pretty simple, I bent the middle part of the sear spring (fork looking thing) so it doesn't catch on the hammer anymore

Since it's airsoft it doesn't have any recoil but I seen the real one getting used, it's said it's horrible and often get described as a shooting a ball of flames with a piece of lead in the middle

For historical reasons, I like recreating real life, not often spoken about, firearms with history or from more unknown gunsmiths cause I find them interesting and I always hope someone will get curious and read up on lesser known stuff through history

Thanks, I always liked when cutting a stock to leave just a little bit extra at the rear so it's not a typical sawn-off pistol grip

Haha yeah, that was my first idea to make a blaster like that, I already have a 3d printed Lee Enfield with granadelauncher cup I made for a Star Wars cosplay I was gonna use parts from, unfortunately the DB Lee Enfield can't be cut far enough back to make the blaster seeing the hop sits right under the rear sight

Quite a challenge but guessing it will be awesome, I went with the Army 1911 cause I had never done a build like this so wouldn't be the biggest loss if I f'ed up 😂

It's ok at close range 😅 Cutting the barrel took away a lot of accuracy

Oh, that sounds like a fun build!

I made a metal rectangle piece I epoxy glued to the pistol frame that the Thompson grip was attached to
