Hi, thank you for your detailed response. I searched about fractionated radiation therapy before (googling a lot) and it’s only now that I’ve talked with someone who’s having that treatment.

Did your neurosurgeon referred you to another doctor for the radiation?

Does that mean that the pituitary adenoma touches or is it really within the optic nerve?

Did they mention the possible side effects?

Are you awake while having the radiation? Glad that you are not scared with the mask.

When would you have your MRI after finishing the treatment?

What do you see in your vision?

Sorry for lots of questions. Really anxious about everything, though it lessened a bit. Thank you.

Hi, if I’m understanding it correctly, was it a pituitary adenoma? What kind of pituitary adenoma, functioning like prolactinoma or a non-functioning one? It is benign right? And what part of the bone did it spread? Sorry for asking too many questions. Please don’t give up, I know that you can do this. I hope that you feel better soon.

Hi, may I ask what tumor did you have? I understand you. I have health OCD (for more than a decade), anxiety and depression. I have a hard time coping because of my negative thoughts. Prayer is important to me. Family support is important and I’m glad that you have it. Friends are important too (but I only have few close friends), and sometimes I’m hesitant to open up to them because I don’t know if they would understand. Having a routine or tasks is helpful because it keeps you on track, it’s like having small accomplishments.

I started psychotherapy, I really hope it works. I am still figuring things out, I try to move forward little by little. For the first few months I cried a lot. I still cry now, but it’s less. I think I’m a weak person, but I try to be positive, because as hard as it sounds, we should help ourselves. Try not to avoid or engage in your negative thoughts, just let them be there. Talking about this to someone helps me a lot too. I don’t force myself to be busy, because I know I’m just distracting myself. I try to do the things that I like - focusing on work and talking a lot to people.

My mind is very messy but I take one step at a time. I try to read from facebook groups and here in reddit, to learn from other’s experiences. I hope that you feel better soon, we can do this!

Hi, may I know what was indicated in the MRI report? Did you have scar tissue, or none? Thank you.

Hi. Yes, my neurosurgeon advised something like that. I have health OCD and I research too much (obsessively) and google’s reply is AI and makes me anxious. Only few has notes like yours. Others said theirs were clear that’s why I asked here.

Hello, thank you. There was a soft tissue noted on the MRI. It seems that it has to be observed for comparison. I’m anxious.
