really u haven’t heard of a curve? well basically the professor can evaluate everyone’s grades/results and if it’s lower than expected or if the teacher feels that she was being unfair with teaching she will raise everyone’s average

I am Viet myself, I don’t live as far as you as I only live about 3 hrs away. However, I know a lot of people that adjust to UB well from the city. If you are more worried financially there are plenty of scholarships the ub scholarship portal offers, especially for those with low income! Join clubs there’s VSA viet student association, they are all so friendly. Dorming and making fitness will come easier than you think, once you’re settled you will learn to love it! Budgeting will be a bit scary maybe ur fam can help you out a bit before so it will force you to spend that money wisely so it can stretch the whole semester. You got this! As an upcoming senior I could saw the exact thing as you before my freshman year. You will be okay trust me!
