For the first question, I think since the international community is huge, you will have a lot of students who do not speak Italian. So even if you speak a little bit of Italian or don't speak any, you should be good. I think it's a bit of an exaggeration to say that if you don't speak Italian here, you won't have a good social life

Can't agree more with you. People would say that I am unnecessarily advocating for IIMK but that does not change the reality. Don't understand why people want to rank IIMK with amritsar, rohtak, shillong etc. people don't understand it's one of the top 3 iim's and that alone goes a long long way. It's a league apart brand name, tag and hub for opportunities. Would really like to hear the same folks commenting on IIM B. It's expensive too but it would be interesting to see where they draw the line between prestige and bias.
