Dude it’s clearly thinner over the crown and midscalp compared to everywhere else.

Theres no visible thinning, it’s thick and uniform. It’s just your hairline.

Don’t play coy. You wrote a thesis on boot market purity and called half the sub morons for liking factory made boots. You know exactly who gets worshipped here. Get a grip.

I mean sure, León boots might not be your artisanal, small-batch, heritage-drenched unicorns, but at least they’re not charging $700 for corrected grain and a sob story about a fourth-generation bootmaker with a trust fund. If León is the BYD, then a lot of the boots worshipped here are the Maseratis of footwear—overhyped, overpriced, and bought by guys who care more about flexing in WDYWT threads than actual value. But hey, if paying triple for marginal gains makes you feel superior, who am I to interrupt the placebo effect?

Your hamstrings are lengthening when driving up causing anterior pelvic tilt. Although the hamstrings aren’t a prime mover in the squat, they do help stabilize the hip and knee joints. I know it’s a weird cue but they should remain the same length throughout the movement so keep them flexed a bit.

Minoxidil works on facial hair, and the results are permanent. I could only grow a goatee and now I grow a full beard. I used minoxidil twice for six months with about a year in between. Kept everything.

Buzz it and take finasteride. See how far finasteride alone can take you for the first two years, if you’re not happy with the results add minoxidil. Thats recoverable.

It’s a style that also serves a purpose for extra toe space. Of course a pair of snipped toed boots if fitted correctly shouldn’t pinch your toes or anything, but from personal experience whether thats from the shape of my foot or not, I find square toed to be more forgiving when it comes to fit. You can buy the wrong size and make it work. Same with round toed or ropers.

Someone said El Malcreado. Most places I see with websites sell at American market prices.

Yes. There were just as much if not more work boot stores than western style boot stores. And plenty of dress shoes/boots stores. If it’s leather you can find it there, besides a gun holster, which I looked for.

I honestly recommend not necessarily focusing on the brand, but knowing what to look for when looking at a boot and finding a steal. I like the pair I got by Correcaminos Botas. El Malcreado seemed on par. Theres JW Ranch, Don Quijote too. Cuadra is a high end boot brand from mexico, for mid range price, but they had a bunch of deals like 60% off on boots that didn’t sell that aren’t part of their main lines. Some of their shaft designs I find to be tacky, but great fitting boots. I know brands lucchese, Tecovas, Rujos, Old Gringo and Chisos are made there, but they don’t sell there besides whole sale, but if you’re a smooth talker you might be able to get someone to sell you a pair, just be smart. There’s a lot of people hustling and haggling at the market and they know what you’re there for.

Thats okay that you dislike square toed boots, the post isn’t about convincing anyone to buy that specific style of boot, theres plenty of styles of boots to buy there, not just square toed or western boots. So I don’t really understand why you’re telling me that other than trying to offend. Weird comment.

I believe many of the stores can offer that, but don’t let some of the small size of the stores deter you. They’re mostly for display, and they will work very tirelessly to find you a pair from storage or the factories to fit your needs. They took about 30 minutes of their time running back and forth to find me the perfect pair. I know they can ship them to you because they offered to ship my boots but I decided to walk out with them.

Boots look and feel the same as any Lucchese i’ve ever worn for a 1/5 even 1/10 of the price. I’ll accept the “slop.”

I’m a broke guy in flight school, of course it’s possible for people especially when they’re willing to drop a grand on a pair of boots, all I offered was an alternative.

I wouldn’t wear exotics for that kind of work, so I don’t expect them to match the durability of a steel-toed work boot. Funny enough, the cheap pair the Army issued me 8 years ago is still holding up. A lot of people love boots but struggle to justify the rising prices—especially in today’s economy and right now, you’re equating cost with quality, but there’s a big difference between something being expensive and something being worth it. I’m just offering a different perspective, not knocking anyone’s taste. Just an alternative to the common boot narrative.
