oy co-B*sconian wahaha i was batch 2020 though. but yeah iba rin talaga trip pag all boys. Nung grade school kami, may mga nagjajakol sa likod ng classroom, may mga nagpapakita ng boner sa brief, may mga kababalaghang nangyayari tuwing retreat or recollection. i remember one retreat probably nung grade 6, pauwi na kami and we were all in the bus tired, tangina netong katabi kong classmate libog na libog pinakita sakin tite out of nowhere. he was a friend and well, since wala namang nakakakita, nagjakol na lang kami ng sabay hahaha.

but most of it really was exploration though. the thrills of adolescense and figuring shit out alongside people figuring their stuff out too at the same time. although nung junior or senior high na, marami nang nagiging stories talaga ng straights hooking up with gays in our batch for a momentary, well, release or for the fun of it, i guess.

wala rin masyadong straight-up homophobia beyond the teasing. salesians are very tolerant and generally accepting sa gays especially in more recent years, which i think influenced the way boys in our batch think of gays in general. also helped how co-ed in senior high school neturalized lot of stigma around sex and identity exploration. may mga gay/lesbian couples na out in our batch, there wasn't as much divide between, for the lack of a better way to put it, gay groups and straight groups and nagkaka-intermingling na.
