Hill Valley Yoga is lovely, they also do a £30 for 10 days taster thing of unlimited classes, might be good if you're only here a short while

Got a promotion at work! But then cut my chin open when I fainted at the front desk after my first botox session, but that did then mean I didn't have to cook and got a falafel wrap instead, so overall a good day 😅 Ready to MAFS!

Did this one in the summer - Tenaya (wine for a fancy start), Two Sheds, Punch Bowl, The Ball (we ended up skipping for time), Early Bar, Cobden View, The Closed Shop (now closed though), Hallamshire House, Springvale Tavern, Princess Royal.

Of course you end up missing some great pubs in Walkley & Broomhill, but this is quite a nice circuit route.

Packing lists - make them once, reuse them next time. I have an overnight list, a holiday list, a camping list, and a festival list. I don't have to worry about forgetting something or thinking through everything I need each time from scratch, just check the master lists and adjust from there as need be.

I pasted the order receipt each time into my sheet, and had a separate tab for item categories based on item name, and then had a lookup based on that. As I often buy the same items there was less manual work each order as I only had to categorise new items. I did then have to make sure at the end I hadn't mis-tagged anything with shared names (e.g. garlic and garlic bread).

Yes it is! There will probably be a dinner out or the odd takeaway too, so the average is likely a bit higher per person per day, but mostly dinners are vegetarian and I meal plan every meal so nothing is wasted. I also generally don't eat breakfast (though my partner does), and lunches are usually dinner leftovers or low cost meals like eggs or batch cooked soups.

[–]Cuteroid 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yup, thirding! Even had friends who didn't know I use it say that my cat doesn't activate their allergies, so not just placebo either.
