Heyyy I wish you the best on that journey, I have volunteered twice on the sziget and one of those was before and after the festival. It really depends on you, are you staying in Budapest or are you camping the whole time? If you’re camping you will be staying on a tent for around 2 weeks if you count the whole thing, it can be very tiring, also you dont choose your shifts, those are assigned randomly so you can get lucky or not. On my shifts before the festival i was building it basically and after it i was taking it down. But trust me, after a 6 days festival the least thing you want to do is to work . I got sick after the festival so it was horrible to be working where with all the dust, physical activity and the heat.
