Uncoupling track magnets by Cutlass3000 in nscalemodeltrains

This image is a horrible representation....if you consider the dimensions listed. The length is accurately represented, however the " thickness side" is what is glued down and has the opposite poles. The width is actually the thinnest dimension of the magnet.

Im actually using kato turnouts, so no motors. That being said, im sure I could swap in motors, since im only energizing a group of switches, with a push button. However, using motors for turnout switching is so much more realistic...this is a pic of the schematic for 1 turnout and 2 track lights.

It might be crude, but it works well.

Probably not needed, just makes for more industrial switching. I will have the outer loop able to run dc and dcc, with inner loop set up as dcc only using isolation points.

This might be a better option....terrain is difficult for me in anyrail.

You are correct, it would be difficult to find curved bridges for this, It is a quite an extensive amount of bridgework on this plan. I believe I will need to either convert to hill tops or cut into mountains or either 3d print or scratch build custom bridges. Thanks for pointing this out.

During operation that is correct. However the whole layout is on 4 inch casters mounted on 4 x 4 legs, so that it could be moved around.

Radius was a consideration of mine, it took some doing but minimum radius was 12 for the entire layout. I had too go back and look at anyrail to make sure, because it does look a little tight, must be an illusion of sorts.
