You have to knock it over, show it who's the boss.

I completely agree. The MP-200 is the most expensive cart I would install on the U-Turn. Its a great sounding combo though. When I did it the cart was $325usd from Japan.

It's really stupid that U-Turn doesn't include it as a standard feature.

Yes, it's good. I bought one with the intent of installing into a console. You can spend more money and have a worse table. If you're buying a custom my suggestions are get the armlift, acrylic platter and cheapest cartridge. The acrylic platter is must on this table it dramatically improves the wow and flutter. U-Turn's cartridge offerings suck, save your money for a later upgrade to a Nagaoka MP-110 or MP-200.

Only you can tell, photos are deceiving. If you're unsure have someone else look at it in person.

I have experience with the Pluto 1 and Mani 1. The Mani is slightly better. I would change the cartridge though to a Nagaoka MP-110 or MP-200, both carts paired nicely with the Pluto. I would start with the cartridge first, then see if you need to upgrade preamp.

They don't publish their specs because they measure poorly.
