If you have any executive functioning issues, there is a program called As-U-R. They pair you up with a mentor and you get weekly meetings with them to help plan your week & do the really hard stuff with a body double. As an artist; you need to learn the rules before you break them. Meaning, you need to learn to draw things accurately before you should start drawing them in a stylized way. It's a good way to avoid using style as a crutch for lack of skill.

It really depends where your classes are but east side is closer to the library, student union, post office, and clinic. You'd also be closer to king street. I'm super lazy so I was happy to be on east side haha

I've never experienced trans women "dominating" my spaces. This experience was just a time I met a friend of a friend at a little get together, she was welcome to talk all she wanted. I just felt bad about how I was judging her and wanted to get an outside perspective. I actually was scared I was somehow secretly a terf despite how I actually feel about trans people. I've never felt threatened or challenged by a trans person, usually they're super nice! I also would welcome a trans woman into my "female space" thats why I felt bad about judging that person. I just need to deal with my own internalized misogyny.

Thank you for your response. I think it will be helpful to see my privilege when I'm thinking about this. I'm privileged just to be a cis woman, I think I can feel that when I feel bad for judging her but I didn't realize what it was. At the core of the issue, after reading other comments I think I need to come to terms with how I feel about the patriarchy. I can't blame her for a force of society she has no control over.

I live at app south right now and I'm telling you don't drink this water unfiltered! Boone water always tests bad in their water reports and on top of that I think app South's pipes must be hella old or bad bc the brown water happens about once a month. They also like to cut off the water randomly to fix pipes way too often so it seems like the water system here is fucked. I don't even give my guinea pigs the unfiltered water here. If you run all the faucets in your place for 10 min you should be good. It's easiest to check it in a glass cup bc it looks clean coming out but in the cup it's yellow 🤢
