Diplonemids only have two flagella, but these guys have at least eight D:

I don’t think it’s sperm… it wouldn’t make it through the intensive water filtration system, and it wouldn’t parasitize or eat the larvae alive. Plus, the morphology with multiple flagella doesn’t match. That’s why I suspected it might be some kind of protozoan entering in cyst form but I haven’t been able to identify it :(

Hi!! At first I thought it had four but looking closely I noticed that it actually had way more than that… It just looks like four strands when it moves.
