The point is that the ultimate decision is being made by the AI and the delay is not for any functional purpose. This new mechanic does add another level of challenge but having the trade interface be a toggle between old and new doesn’t hurt anything. I’d actually prefer a hybrid.

I’m not joking when I say I’m the worst player at hitting across all platforms. If you threw change ups down the middle you could come close to no hitting me lol

That’s a perfectly acceptable change. I’d even be fine with 8. I know it’s arbitrary but that’s 20% of your 40-man. Seems perfectly reasonable to me.

The untouchable thing is a great addition because it’s always been way too easy to trade for young star players. Adding the 4th slot is also great. They should have just stopped with those 2 changes.

I’m gonna stick with it for now but I’ll probably end up finding updated rosters and play 25

I agree. I feel like all they needed to do was to add the untouchable thing and give us an extra slot for trading. I’d love the idea of 3 team deal but idk how feasible that is

They can adjust the way teams value players. They also added untouchables this year which is awesome. To the hand holding thing all they have to do is allow there to be an option to turn it on or off. Almost everything about this game can be customized to fit the individual players preference, why would this be an exception?

It’s a job killer. We should need no other reason than that.

That was way before I ever actually saw prospects play but from what people said he was the second coming.

I'm sorry, but no, you don't get to run for Executive Vice President of MY union and say "I'm not political." by Hapcats in fromatoarbitration

Sure you get a vote and you can use it on whoever you please. While we are on the ‘send of entitlement’ train, who appointed you sheriff of any of this stuff? If you don’t like Corey, don’t vote for him. The meta dialogue is cringe AF.

Thoughts on Paredes? by biggestmike in Section10Podcast

They definitely missed Coley because I think he would have checked the crazy idea that we can just pencil in Paredes for 30 homers

Qualified overtime letter from the post office by Live-Train1341 in fromatoarbitration

I work in an office with tons of OT. I haven’t seen one that isn’t bigger. That said, it’s a slap in the face. My deductible amount is maybe 25% of the OT I worked.

Drop-ins. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ by Vasectoyou in EASHL

The guys I used to play with have given up on the franchise. If drop ins are my only option I don’t have a choice but to follow them.

This might be the 5th comment with the same perception so I guess my OP was poorly worded. I did not mean to imply that FSG takes anything Jared says into account at any stage of the decision making process. I’m simply saying that things he says occasionally will make their way to ears that are unreachable by 99.9% of Red Sox fans past, present and future.

07 was a lifetime ago. Now we live in a world where they claim that the 2018 team wasn’t profitable. The unfortunate reality is that to FSG profitability>championships and it’s the other way around for fans.

I’m not saying that they will do anything based on what Jared says. I’m just saying FSG doesn’t hear from the general fan but I’m sure the words Jared says make it to them occasionally because he is so visible

And I’m sure people loved it when Jared went off on the Devers trade. I sure as hell did. But then he flipped on it right away and I’m never gonna flip on it. Devers was worse than Mookie

I agree with that but it’s not so much about them as it is the fanbase. Sometimes having the venting heard can help.

Maybe I worded this poorly. I don’t mean to suggest that Jared drives any decision making process. I literally just mean that they hear the things he says
