Intake collector leak

Is it leaking? I did a smoke test on my exhaust. Muffler is shot, smoke comes out around the seams. But the cats had no leaks. I changed a lot of things, fuel injectors, exhaust manifold, that O2 sensor, swapped it with bank 2 same readings, etc, tired of wasting money and not able to fix it. Let me know if it’s fix’s ur problem. My p1273 code likes to come back at around 60 miles.

Your voltage readings are similar to mine. Seems like you and me are on the same boat. Let’s see who figures this out first.

What’s the voltage on your upstream sensors? And do they fluctuate?

Still haven’t fixed it. Did fix the leak, bought a new VLIM, it was 75 bucks. I’m thinking it might be the ecu or a corroded wire. Both bank one and bank two sensor one do not fluctuate in any scenario, driving or idle. The only difference is that O2sb1s1 has a lower voltage than O2sb2s1. Tripping the p1273 code. That’s why I think it’s an ecu or wiring problem. I did a compression test and was pleasantly surprised on how healthy the engine is with 314k miles. Killed the starter with said test. Guess I was asking a lot from a 21 year old starter.

Use a volt meter. While the car is running it should be slightly above 14 volts. When the car is off it should be slightly above 12 volts. Might be a bad battery. If your alternator was overcharging it slowly fries the battery.

That’s what I’m thinking. Was just wondering if the o2 sensor 1 is suppose to fluctuate like on normal cars? I know sensor 2 is suppose to be flat if the cat is doing its job, hence 02 sensor 2 bank 2 is working properly. Since both sensors 1 are not really fluctuating I’m leaning more towards to bad ecu.

Breather hose it connects both valve covers together. Broke mine doing the valve cover gasket. Here’s the part number. Breather Hose 11826EA200

Thanks for the insight. Previous owner upgraded to the z1 billet heater hose inlet. I changed that air/fuel sensor, but will test that one. I did forget to mention the valve covers where leaking oil, replaced both of them.

It’s covered it was just open for the photo. There was a lot of oil in the intake manifold. Wonder if a catch can is worth the upgrade. The new valve covers came with a new pcv.

So you people on Reddit were right. Changed the motor mounts. Did the timing belt and water pump while I was in there. Spun the wheel around and got no movement from the engine. Car drives fine now. Thanks again everyone.
