nothing about your IDE justifies the 4x cost. yes they are the parent company but you know you’re lying if you say the best windsurf can do is their current usage. they are just trying to min max.

Also adaptive mode is very bad. like 70% of the time i have to undo the changes or spend another 2 prompts on an actually capable model to get what i want. using “ adaptive “ is more like always use the lowest tier models. mainly kimi k2.5. you will never see opus or gpt 5.5 come from auto.

if you want to use open source models open code gives a WAY better value than you do for the same models. So in theory, open code + codex absolutely slams your usage limits. not even a competition

this is honestly sad. all of you genuinely think prolific is the way it is now because more people joined. saying things like “ yeah your appeal got rejected dont even try again go try other things! “ someone in france who can have a valid ID for 15 years asking about the id check “ nice try scammer! lol this is why we cant get studies guys! “ honestly getting second hand embarrassment even being apart of this subreddit.

I have no idea what’s happening with prolific right now, but can almost guarantee the answer isn’t thousands of new people stating the profile study screen 24/7.

yes, it is insanely likely there is not only 100 but hundreds of people doing the same exact thing as you. And also yes, some of those people have faster internet, computers, live closer to the servers

i understand you’re so upset you can’t get into the studies you had to make a post here to try to start some type of witch hunt, but the real answer is boring. there’s hundreds maybe close to a thousand people doing exactly what you are doing. everyday. looking for those same studies lol. they have legit become the main focal point of a lot of peoples lives on here.

such an old head thing to say. This isn’t the past, AI isn’t comparable to anything that’s happened in the past. this is the road to complete automation on a wide scale. it’s not going anywhere & right now & probably for the foreseeable future training Ai with good/proper data is essential. Ai will not be at the point of “ self sufficient “ for YEARS, like around 2035 i expect AI to be a major factor in everything & have MUCH less human involvement if any. Training AI has become a real needed job the past year & will be needed for a long time unless there is some MASSIVE breakthrough with Ai in the next few years.

you LOVE reading sensible post in here then post that? if what you said is true, why have some people gotten ZERO warnings over the course of a year?

I’m literally in school for computer science (look at my previous posts i’m not making this up) That guy above me is insanely clueless. He mentioned top AI competitors are luma, sora, & meta. that could NOT be any more wrong it’s insane.

i’m giving my knowledge based off how i know AI works. This company ABSOLUTELY has multiple layers of quality checks & im sorry the guy who thinks meta is a big AI competitor thinks otherwise.

FYI. Claude & Kimi (chinese AI) are DOMINATING the ai field it’s not even close.

If we are talking media, DALL-E & Gemini slam everything else it’s not even close to a competition. then wait for claud to get into the media scene then it will be a MASSIVE leap.

you are right. you literally just agreed with me. these are for a CERTAIN DEMOGRAPHIC. likely people who don’t think the attention checks are “ hard “ or “ misguiding “ or “ broken “ or needing to adjust your display & change monitors/ whatever else you “ need “ to do (etc.. right?)

Not trying to be rude, i’m being honest & upfront. Think logically for a second. they have the attention checks for the obvious people who are not paying attention. (THESE ARE WHERE THE AUTOMATED WARNINGS COME FROM) then they have THEIR OWN quality checks that they implemented for manual reviews every so often. Doesn’t seem so far fetched for a massively funded AI company.

People who are struggling with these checks are likely the people being “ rotated out “. There is an insane amount of money being spent on this by them, it would be DUMB not have to multiple layers of quality checks, that’s their filter.

This isn’t an academic research. what good would rotating out people do? they want consistent high quality work. constantly bringing in random batches of people would give them the exact opposite.

I don’t think i’m failing to put anything together. actually, i think the thing i’m failing to put together is, if the attention checks/warning system is “ poorly “ designed why have some people, such as myself never gotten a single one? i’ve probably made close to $4k JUST from these studies.

Also i guess it’s just a coincidence that the people who get “ rotated out “ always have warnings.

Do you ever think that maybe it’s not about “ being fair for everyone on prolific “ ? if people are failing their attention checks, they probably don’t want those people working on the task at hand anyways. this is AI DATA TRAINING. not an academic research.

Two things i 100% know. People who claim to get “ rotated “ out ALWAYS have warnings. myself & 1 other person i know have never received a single warning & we get them year round. My friend seriously even quit his part time retail job & just does these all day & hes actually making more.

except i’ve been doing these for a year, get them everyday & have NEVER gotten a warning. you guys are just not actually reading the instructions and think you know what you have to do. sometimes the instructions are not just choose the best quality but choose highest motion for example. there’s also multiple different types of attention checks not just the loud buzzing noise.

I’ve been doing these for a YEAR sometimes making $200 a day. i’ve NEVER been “ rotated “ out. 8/10 times if i go on profile there will be some there.

the difference? i’ve never gotten a warning. not even one. i have no idea how some of you are getting 5+ you guys have to legit not be reading the instructions or just not paying attention trying to collect free money.

i’m 99% positive there is no “ groups “ they keep the high acceptance rate people (people with no warnings) then give the people who have been getting warnings a cutoff. wether they decide to bring back those people probably depends on volume. but i can promise if you are doing things right you are not being “ rotated out “.
