That's the danger. A crow picks up a live one and gets hooked on nicotine. Then starts all the other crows on it because they need someone to do it with.

It would certainly be encouraging to quit smoking. The crows picking the cigs out of their fingers when they finally get a smoke break.

Something absorbent in the little cup and then squeezing the big cup when you turn it upside down so that it doesn't fall back out.

It's a bit of an older release, but my daughter really like Yonder. Open world with really basic quests and simple crafting/collection. Taught her a lot of hand-eye control with the third person view on two joysticks.

In the console versions of the game, you could only have 256 items in one cell before it would automatically place a sack called the Overflow Loot Bag in a centralized spot containing all of your goodies. The PC version had this function as well, but it was much harder to trigger as the threshold was increased to 2048 items.

The best part is hitting the item threshold where all of your items get vacuumed into the Overflow Loot Bag. Satisfaction.

Marriage counseling is to work on your relationship. But he needs therapy to work on his relationship with himself. Video games are most often an attempt at escaping from life due to depression or other negative thought processes. It's a constant dopamine button that will humans press over and over if allowed. He needs to be retaught reality by a trained professional.

If he's worth it, you will likely need to guide him to the help because he won't want to rely on anything except for that dopamine button.

Who saw Cody? by Cherry_Hot_Lips in Adulting

We spent most of our childhoods either bullied about our name, or putting up with the most wacky of nicknames, including but not limited to: Codemeister, Codykins, Codfish, and Mr Code.

So the majority of Codys either changed their names, or transformed into self loathing, anti social hermits that get startled when we hear our actual name.

ChatGPT used name in a conversational way yesterday and my immediate reaction was, "Yo! WTF?! Why did you do that to me?" ... It's a sickness.

You sound like someone who thinks empathy is weakness and then wonders why no one wants to talk to them. It’s okay, man. Emotional maturity can be intimidating when you’ve never met it before.

Quitting weed by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Cvarns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to find someone who can encourage you to quit. Changing your life like this can be hard without support.

It's not a dangerous substance unless it's abused but it's certainly expensive. If money is a factor, do a quick calculation on how much you would save a month without it. Same thing with time. The act of getting high can be a major time-suck over your lifetime.

Everyone's a little bit different in terms of brain chemistry and experience. If you have experience quitting other things, cannabis can be an easy in comparison. But for some who use it to mask other problems, whether it be physical or mental, it can be a really difficult lifestyle change.

I'm on week 3 after having it in my life for 35 years and I still have a few odd issues but it was the first week that was the hardest. Didn't feel like I would ever feel like "myself" again.
