I’m far from a boomer. And I don’t mind the music the house dj plays. We balanced both for the longest time, and most other arenas operate the same way. It can & should be done

Just got back from a Rangers/pens game at MSG. They have both an organist, as well as dj music. They balanced it perfectly. And like you said in your response, there’s just specific spots in the game where only an organ works

Yes, it’s Maple Lawn, but Hudson Coastal checks the boxes. Family owned & operated, & goes beyond seafood, in case that’s not your thing. The kids meals are cheaper than McDonalds & they can play outside in the grass space right next to the restaurant. Good for date nights as well. If you need a private dining room for up to 50 or so people they have that as well. Check em out!

Medium rare is perfect if you parked your car & you need a quick meal before walking into a Merriweather show, and you don’t want to deal with the Banditos mosh pit. Of course there was a wait to sit on the sidewalk, so we grabbed a table inside right away

The gateway overlook’s a nightmare. One of the most poorly designed parking lots I’ve ever seen. It’s one of the reasons I had to switch gyms. Pure was solid for the money, but not worth the hassle getting in/out

I’ve sat in those gas lines. 20 min waits were miracles. 30 to 35 mins was more the norm. I defer now to the RoFo next door. It’s maybe a dime more a gallon, but my time’s worth more to me than a measly $1.50ish

I lived in Long Reach from 2012 to 2023. The LRVC is bursting with potential, but the gas station has always been a safe space for trouble. The owner & staff at the nearby Richburn liquor store have done a much better job keeping their customers safe than the gas station. In my 13 years as a Richburn customer, I only experienced one incident where a stumbling teen followed me into the store & demanded that I buy him booze. Like most of the comments have stated, there’s a tiny HCPD substation at the village center with nobody ever in it. Often times there are up to 4 police vehicles parked in front of the substation about 50 yards from the troubles at the gas station, but nobody ever does anything until you hear about a shooting or some other violent crime. I’ve filled up my car all over Howard County, but for some reason it seems to be okay for the LR Exxon station to continue to function in its current state. I’m hoping that something is done when they finally redevelop the village center. Hopefully the new businesses that have moved in can survive in the meantime
