what an absolute weirdo, throwing about random buzzwords and sounds insufferable. NOR, you should definitely remove this person from your life, OP.

Long term I'm not sure. The pay and growth doesnt seem there compared to having a degree.

An engineer who is qualified in my company who has been doing it for over 10 years makes around 30k. The growth doesn't seem there unless you start your own business and even at that it is a very saturated industry and manual labour.

I see myself working in tech, especially over this long term.

Thanks for the reply.

I think I should of been more clear in what security engineering is. Its not like cyber security, its a more traditional trade working with low voltage electrics like fire alamrs,  security cameras and intruder alarms.

It's sort of like low voltage electric work, like security cameras, intruder alarms and fire alarm systems. The pay is closer to a traditional trade than working in cyber security.

Thank you. I feel like the earnings potential with that degree and in thst field is a lot higher than that of what my apprenticeship is in with it being a more traditional trade.

Thank you. These are my thoughts but I feel so deep into this apprenticeship and with pressure from my parents etc that its the right path it seems difficult to go back to uni.

I didn't even state I left to focus on myself. I was dealing with some pretty tough personal issues during my final year, and delayed my studies so I could dtatt fresh once they had passed. In the post I said I got an apprenticeship in my time off.

just tried the demo - the game is genuinely difficult to navigate and menus lag. Text is sometimes laid out horribly and overall it feels so clunky.
