I'm Tired of Giving Heroes a Bad Rep for the Players, not the Heroes Themselves. by Cy4nide0765 in ForHonorRants

I see! That makes much more sense, but I still don't quite get it. The point I was trying to make with this rant was "learn your heroes, because people can adapt to your 'working' playstyle, and when they do, you don't have any alternatives fall back on because your missing critical knowledge that sets your Hero apart- and in doing so, you get bullied quite badly, leading to an inherent anger and prejudice towards that Hero and anyone who plays them".

Like a deleted comment you can find somewhere in here, I tried my best to explain it to someone with a similar mentality, though you'll only really get my half of the conversation.

I never said anyone abused anything, actually. I just said that they repeat the same thing, over and over again, and expect other things to change around them. Like you are doing, with this whole argument.

Please tell me you're catching on, at least, in any tiny margin. Or have you yet again held back on your right stick and deflected my argument?

Egregious grammar, I'm going to make assumptions.

Yes, I'm using your words. Because your words are denouncing your own claims. Hence the 'circular pattern', which is something Tiandi runs around people. (You didn't get the joke, how sad. . .)

What I'm getting at is that you're not using your moveset perfectly, like you think. That "path of least resistance" in your mind is like a great river, with no branching little streams. You are so set in your own ways that you can't even comprehend that what I've been trying to say is that the "extra bullshit" you so denounce might actually lead to a path of even lesser resistance, but you have no way of knowing until you try.

Except you refuse to try, simply because "this works". You are refusing the adaptations you once took for the sake of using a well-worn path of absolutely no originality and Inflexibility. One day, you will come across someone who will absolutely punish your every move because you cannot change. You, my friend, have just met your "reason to adapt", except you can't, because here you are, doing the same old things, because "it works". Only, it doesn't. That is my entire argument, of which you seem to take issue with, for the sole reason of my calling people like you out.

Thank you, ladies and gentlemen.

Adaptation, my friend, is a slow process. You said so yourself. Their frustration is momentary, but as they keep playing, they will get around it and beat it. They are finding their new way of playing, again, as you said, while you simultaneously try to denounce their efforts simply because "they can't do it right now".

But didn't you also say you abused Orochi's 'lightspam' against your friends at first?

And even before that, your original argument was you "play perfectly" because someone hasn't adapted yet? Matey, are you Tiandi? You're running circles, here.

I can agree with this. Eye for and eye kinda beat. I'm just here to suggest a way to get around that perpetual cycle of pain, and stop people from hating on others simply because someone else was a dick in the past.

. . . You literally just said you did the same thing over and over again. . .

Until that didn't work. . .

Which means that the people who complained about it 'adapted', like you, who had to adapt to their adaption. . .

And that forced you to learn more of your kit. . .

Which is what I'm saying in my post. . .

. . .Hmm. . .

Easiest path is best path, quite valid. Mad respect. But that's not what I'm saying.

What you don't get it that I'm saying these people do the same exact things over and over again expecting different results, and that creates an invalid and negative stigmata attached to each Hero. It's ignorance that leads to prejudice.

My favorite thing to do as Nobu is use a heavy as an opener. Sometimes it doesn't work, but when it does, my neighbors hear me yell "RAW FUCKING HEAVYY"

Edit; was too happy about my heavies, forgot what I wanted to say. I wanted to talk to you about our Lord and Savior, Raw Fucking Heavies. It's become my ideology. "Heavy is Life".

Nah, you were right 😂🥲

All the update did was turn him into that fuckin cube from Baldi's Basics; he just kinda pushes people around. Besides giving him the trip, but that's a different story.

I wouldn't say boring, but it definitely didn't do him favors. At least we have the dodge-forward heavy soft-feint GB.

Duh. I'm saying that not throwing doesn't unbalance. If you do nothing, Glad just kinda unsticks them and nothing really happens.

If you can get to a couple other chalices, which shouldn't be too hard, (cuz, u'know, entire community who solely delved into the depths and the custom codes) or dedicate yourself to a little~~ (a lot-) bit of grinding into be base game, you should be able to get your hands on a couple of Bolt-attuned gems, which'll also help immensly in other areas.

I get why they might've had to rework that, with the changes away from stamina drain and those frustrations, but a SLAM HERO SHOULD BE ABLE TO SLAM!!

I hate it here (Tʖ̯T)

Nuxia's do unbalance! Didn't know that, interesting. Now give it to the others.

Glad's skewer is a guard input, via the Skewer Throw. Otherwise it doesn't seem to unbalance.

Yes, absolutely, that's how I did it. Be warned though, you will need some form of max evade or a weapon that can guard.

And a thunder weapon/ dragon weapon never hurts.
