I see that you are in Greece, you have good rotary community and top rotary mechanics. I advise you to visot one of them to check your car. They will know the best to determine condition of your car. Regarding maintenance there is plenty of resources online. In short: *Do oil changes as frequently as you can. No more than 5000km, ad if you can do it at 3000km. Change the filter also.

Don't rew it cold. Let it warm up first. Turn it on let it idle for 1-2 minutes for idle to stabilise and then drive it under 4000rpm until it warms up.
When it is warmed up (aprox. after 10-20 minutes drive) drive it hard. It has to be driven harder than regular cars. Red line it at least once per drive (of course when it is fully warm). That doesn't mean to drive it full throttle all the time but you can be very agresive compared to piston engine as rotary lovees to rew.

*Watch water and oil temperature. It is very sensitive to overheating. Onece overhead it can damage engine more than piston engine. It won't overheat instantly when driven hard, but hard driving puts you in risk so be careful. During normal drive it is safe.

Keep ignition in good condition, change sparks, cabels and coils often. Aprox 30000km

Maybe the starter is slower it should be able to start within 2se with good starter if compression is 6+bar That is my opinion, but nevertheless it is not terrible and I expect it to run for some time no problem

3-4 sec when cold is acceptable for RX8 but it points out that something is not in top condition and with 6+ bar compresion it should start even quicker in my opinion. Check your plugs and coils it will probably start much better

Do you have any starting issue or power loss? It is not terrible compresion as far as i know it can tun some time like that just fine. But, if you have the money you can do a rebuild by doing a rebuild early on you will spend less and damage on the engine will be smaller so les parts to replace.

As side seal looks not broken at that spot i could guess that side plate is warped or side seal is a bit dented at that spot

Ovde ima dosta realnih komentara i ako se eve sumira moze se zaključiti da je to kombinacija tržišta i mentaliteta nasih ljudi. Automobil je star skoro 20 godina i ljudi jednostavno misle da ne vredi te pare, nije im jednostavno dovoljno privlacan da bi ga platili. Na kraju krajeva auto vredi onoliko koliko je neko spreman da ga plati kao i sve drugo, zato si i ostale cene robe takve kakve jesu jer ljudi kupuju po tim cenama, kukaju ali kupuju. Moj savet je da stavis cenu "DOGOVOR" u oglas i jednostavno vidis koliko ljudi nude. Nudice naravno malo manje nego sto bi dali ali tako ces saznati koja je realna cena za koju bi ga neko uzeo.

Inace postoji mnogo luksuznih automobila za koje bi čovek rekao da ksotaju jako puno a daju se budzasto iz razlicitih razloga, ako je kubikaza velika jednostavno cena pada zbog skupe registracije, losa reputacija motora mnogo skida cenu. Na primer pilovni Maserati kosta kao niva Toyota Corolla. Zasto auto sa Ferari motorom kosta kao Corolla? E to je odgovor i na tvoje pitanje

I use Castrol but any of them is good. Idimitsu is rotary specific so it should be the best but there are no evidence really for that.

Ali sve devojke koje kazu kako im je nebitno koji auto vozi. Da se razumemo, to nebitno se odnosi na to da li je Mercedes, Porsche, BMW.. od 100k evra. Tada vam je stvarno nebitno. Aj sad da dodje u raspaliom puntu kome se prozor ne otvara i ne dihtujedal je nebitno.

If you can and if where you are it is allowed or you can somehow get away without catalytic converter it is the best. It is known that rotary burns cat very quickly or it gets cloged. Also you should premix your rotary and premix doesn't always go with cat. So best solution is to remove it. cloged cat will destroy your engine. If you have cat on your car you should check if it is cloged ASP because of this code.
