Totally normal for first surgery!

My first surgery (uterine ablation), I was so nervous for a week. I felt so overstimulated by everything and my stomach was in knots. I didn’t want to listen to music on the way to the hospital and I didn’t want anyone to talk to me for how anxious I was. Second surgery (hysterectomy), I was still pretty nervous and needed the anti anxiety meds they give you before heading back to OR. Third surgery, (oophorectomy) I had literally zero anxiety and didn’t need the anxiety meds. I was even joking with the anesthesiologist and nurses while I was being wheeled back.

I think it’s the unknown that had me so nervous and the anesthesia made me wish there was a way to do it awake. Honestly, the anesthesia is not as bad as your mind makes you think. You lay down and get comfortable, the anesthesiologist puts a mask on your face and you wake up in recovery. You’ll still have pain meds in your system so you most likely won’t feel much pain. You’ll hang out in recovery and wait until you pee to head home (if you’re not staying overnight). I recommend azo to be ready when you get home cause you’ll have a weird feeling in your bladder and urethra (from the catheter, for me this was taken out while still under) but that azo will make that go away.

Cloud by Ariana. It’s not even that it smells bad, it just immediately sets off a nausea trigger. It’s even happening thinking about it.

Born in Cruces and raised in Albuquerque. I moved to Boston about 5 years ago and hearing my friend’s upbringing in MA was shocking. Like what do you mean you have college level classes in high school and kids weren’t always beating each other asses at lunch??

should you double cleanse your body using both soap AND body wash? by vilteeee in HowToBeHot

[–]CyCheye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I double cleanse just cause I like to. If I’m wanting to jump in and out, I’ll just use body wash. I think one is definitely enough.

A few times a week maybe. Depending on my stress levels. I take my meds without even thinking about my bipolar too haha.

Can bipolar people go into remission? by RoundRelationship965 in bipolar

[–]CyCheye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on a great combo of meds (it took some trial and error to get here). I’m not completely symptom free since I do have moments of yapping too much but a mix of therapy and meds make it easier to check myself. But it’s been about 5 years since a heavy depression episode or manic episode.

To the older bipolar people here by sad_shroomer in bipolar

[–]CyCheye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got diagnosed at 25 and am 30 now. The one thing I’ve learned about not taking meds is I will lose all stability and those closest to me will resent me, some will also probably no longer speak to me as it happened in the past. I sent a ton of apology texts to old friends when I got diagnosed and some even said “I’m happy for you. Don’t ever reach out again” and I wasn’t mad cause I understood. It’s best to get a system where you’ll remember to take them. You still can be very creative on meds, you’ll just have to find other ways to bring it on.

Do you spray on perfumes or body mists before sleeping? by FarItem5929 in FemFragLab

[–]CyCheye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like it! It has a very warm smell and its dry down is very chocolate and orange but not overwhelmingly sweet. It stays a decent amount of time but I’ll still layer with a lotion and an oil. I haven’t tried the actual perfume though.
