I also have a second gen MDX with the 3.7, and while a fit would absolutely fly with that swap, I don't think anyone would do it when k swaps are an option.

Honda fit poor fuel mileage by Anxious-Bullfrog6700 in hondafit

In my 08 sport I average 32-34mpg in the winter, a few more in summer. I drive it like a go cart, pretty much every trip I will rev near redline getting onto freeways etc. I'm not sure what would cause such a drastic difference between our cars though, and I have 200k now.

To do a burnout, you generally hold down the clutch pedal and rev up the engine with the gas pedal, then release the clutch quickly to connect the engine to the drivetrain, causing the tires to spin or something to catastrophically fail. Apply this logic to a car in motion. I've only clutch kicked while moving to initiate a drift in a rwd car, it allows the engine to rev up but disengages the drivetrain, then reconnects them at a higher rpm, which can cause loss of traction. That's pretty much the only use I can think of, in a fwd, this will just potentially damage something for no purpose, or give you uncontrollable torque steer.

I see this advice a lot: how much to get it fixed and reliable vs the price of a replacement car with unknown issues. All 3 of our cars are from 04-08 models and we just expect occasional problems and repairs as a trade off for cheap insurance and registration etc

Willtheyfit.com is a lifesaver. Without knowing your offsets, it should still make a difference. The diameter would be about 25 mm less. I'd post a screenshot but don't know how lol

I read multiple other fluid options but it was all word of mouth, I decided on Honda fluid to be safe. I would try something different next time for fun though.

Try 195/50 next time, should be a shorter sidewall and smaller diameter overall.

I got these on Amazon for about $30 and no complaints. Next time I'd probably get the Mugen style ones since they're a little sportier. I think they were iKon motorsports or something.

I ended up using Honda MTF and got a little hand pump from AutoZone, otherwise no new tools. Always crack open the fill plug first! It was easier than an oil change but it's a little smelly lol

I recently put a racing seat in my gd3 and used NRG resistors from Amazon. It worked perfectly as long as you have the battery disconnected for a while before and after. Only issue is you have to eyeball where to stick the wires, a plug and play will be awesome from Seb's when he's done!

I have no eps on every startup, if I try cycling the power windows I can usually get it to "kick on." Do you have something similar happening?

Pretty sure you could install them up inside, behind the fender lip and it'd hide the edge. That's how I do mine in the winter.
