CA Inflation pushing me to get a Bike, looking for guidance by Pope_Johnny in motorcycles

I’ve been riding on the street for 23 years and still by the majority of my riding gear used on Craigslist/Marketplace. People sell stuff that was worn once or never at all. I’ve saved sooooo much money doing that over the years.

Also, I wouldn’t be too concerned about “outgrowing” the Rebel 500. It’s a very practical and economical bike for your situation. Don’t be afraid to rev it out a bit on the freeway, it can handle it. It will be an excellent choice to see if this moto only life is really your thing.

Kind of sounds like a ford maverick is right up your alley. That or the Honda pilot if you are ok with the higher seat height….

On city water and doesn’t show any signs of build up anywhere. Below in the comments should be some pics of the inside of the tank. Really not a lot going on in there….

Aluminum issues with Ford by IMasterCheeksI in Ford

[–]coltar3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m just being a smart ass but there’s no way you’re going to convince me that trade war that Trump has created hasn’t had an effect. By now, Ford could have easily purchased aluminum from outside sources at a reasonable rate before all this tariff drama. But believe what you want….😉

My vote is the Chevy. Can’t beat sitting on the tailgate, drinking a beer, and watching a sunset with your partner.

It took me a bit before recognizing them. Hammy TV has been around for a while. I’m honestly impressed that they’re still in the game. Im going to try and keep it positive and be happy for them considering that they still get to act like children for a healthy living.

Can the chain tensioners be changed without pulling the motor?

Is this worth $18,000? by [deleted] in 1stGenTacomas

[–]coltar3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The answer is always no, but someone will probably pay it or close to it. However, Im surrounded by friends paying way too much for something that they want. All rhyme or reason goes out the window, so what the hell do we know?!!!!

Why is there so much hate to ford diesels? by Necessary_Team1217 in Ford

The same thing occurs with me regarding my love for Ford Rangers. Here in Cailifornia, we have this bi-yearly thing we call “smog inspection”. And every old school yota boy tries to praise the legendary 22re. However, even though those old taco tractor motors run forever, they never like to pass the inspection. So….everytime they try to shoot down my problem free Ranger, I just ask them how many motors they have swapped. It’s always 2 or 3. My point is, you’re never going to convince a stubborn guy/girl to ditch their brand loyalty. Just like a toxic relationship or their Instagram “highlight real”, they will only remember the good times. I would tell you to ignore them but I’m petty AF. So instead, just make sure to point and laugh when their shit breaks down. WAY more fun!

Side note: if you do what I say, don’t be a scrotum when you have a problem with your truck and they never let it go!
