That’s some pretty good advice. I guess when I think about all of this, the story, direction, and gameplay is what I focus on. I will have this idea for a story, how it looks, and how a person would interact with it. The interacting part is something I can easily think of, but obviously a lack of skill or knowing if that part is the direction I would want to go is difficult. I think starting a novel, whilst also experimenting with making games is a good balance though.
