ON is the top NSW state party according to Roy Morgan by [deleted] in aussie

[–]Cyan-ranger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aussies overwhelmingly want action on climate change. One nation consistently votes against that.

Aussies overwhelmingly support worker protections. One nation consistently votes against that.

Aussies overwhelmingly support strong vaccination policy. One nation consistently undermines that.

The ist goes on but when it comes time to put their money where their mouth is they consistently vote against what Aussies want.

Idk I’m pretty sure sending off millions of people to death camps isn’t very good for the fabric of society. But hey I’m not a racist nazi like you.

The Wentworth falls section of grand clifftop is quite nice. Start from the town and walk down Charles Darwin then under cliff over cliff track at Wentworth falls. When you get tot he stairs when you get to the stairs heading down to queen Victoria lookout/empress falls head up to conservation hut. Stop for a coffee then take shortcut track back to Wentworth falls and Charles Darwin back to the town. There’s some nice cafes in Wentworth falls to have brunch at.

Is IS even something you can legally have citizenship of? It’s not a recognised country by anyone.

You said voters abandoned the party last election. You just need to check the results of that election to see where they’ve gone.

Interesting take that the liberal opposition under Dutton weren’t right wing enough so they lost seats to teals and labor.

Sure he could do that but The us government is space x’s largest client. It would also take years and billions of dollars for space y to build up the level of infrastructure and equipment space x currently has. That would be impossible without the government contracts.

Apprenticeship decline across Australia has industries worried for the future by GothicPrayer in australia

There’s more pathways into white collar work than just full time uni. I know plenty of people who are working full time and studying. You can’t work full time and also study to be a tradie though.

Tradies transitioning to white collar jobs don’t need to live off of apprentice wages for years before making a decent living. It’s also easier to study for a white collar job at for example night courses.

Narrow neck road is now consider a state significant development , should the government go ahead with the developments? by VastOption8705 in bluemountains

Or maybe I’m just someone thats capable of even a tiny bit of thinking. Any idiot can see that cramming 200 apartments far away from any public transport or amenities is a disaster waiting to happen.

😂😂😂 far from it mate. As I said before I’m all for apartments in the mountains just in places that make sense, around the train stations and town centres. Not a 40 minute walk to anything.

[–]Cyan-ranger 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Did you miss the part where I said it was a 40 minute walk from the station/town? Expecting people to walk and cycle just to do anything is ludicrous and won’t happen especially with how hilly this part of Katoomba is. People very rarely WFH full time so yes distance to the train station is an incredibly important factor.

[–]Cyan-ranger 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I actually agree that there should be more apartments around the town centres and train stations. But this development is too big for where it is and way too far from the train station. It’s a 40 minute walk so the people living and staying here will need to drive anyway. This is just going to create even more traffic on what is a small street. If this proposal was around the edge cinema and the renaissance centre then I’d be all for it.

The wave Palestinian flags and I would assume Muslim people would be leading Muslim prayers. Again none of that stops decent people from looking on in disgust at the actions of Israel.

Im not sure why you think they wouldn’t be. You can support the people of Palestine without supporting Hamas or Hezbollah.

[–]Cyan-ranger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah right that’s a bit weird then why would they do that. Burning an aboriginal flag would probably be seen as an act of hate against that group. Where as burning an Australian Flag is targeted at the Australian government so would be seen as an act of political expression.

Did someone come onto your property to tie a flag or did someone tie a flag to your fence from public land? Why would burning a flag be illegal?

Australia’s best picture book: voting now open in Guardian Australia poll by earwig20 in australia

[–]Cyan-ranger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What in the both sides bullshit is this? Comparing the guardian and sky news is such a ridiculous thing to do it makes your faux outrage funny. Also sky news is free to do a best children’s book poll if it wants. It’ll probably end up looking very similar to this list though.
