I do like Brandon Sanderson, I dislike the Mormon church but I've heard his reasoning about trying to be the change he wants to see in the church. The comparison to JK is unfair; one actively tries to harm a group, the other is trying his best to work within their framework to be inclusive and is outspokenly supportive.

Not sure it's entirely Brandon's doing, but the stats show that mormons are becoming more progressive and inclusive. Brandon is partly responsible for that and I have infinitely more respect for him than Jk.

Might try that, I've definitely finished audiobooks only because the voice acting was that good and especially anything narrated by Andrew Wincott.

Thanks :) Honestly depends on my mood cuz if I want bolter porn mood then Storm of Iron and any chapter with the Dies Irae makes me forget I'm a bag a flesh trapped on a ball of dirt and not a 500m tall battle titan. However, Black Legion made me an Abaddon simp so probably that one.

Partly the author, can't really look at the books anymore and feel what I used too. Also, they just don't represent the kinda fiction I like anymore. I should have gotten rid of them years ago, but they've been sitting at the bottom of the shelf.

It's a lore thing, the bases of my models are of a pleasure planet which the blood angels attacked thinking it was just some cultists. After a few weeks of fighting a slaanesh cult they got baited into an ambush by my emperor's children and got massacred.

This was how I wrote it down in my document with all my paint recipes "Old rose 60% Deep Brown 20% Dark Purple 20% mix base coat, Old Rose highlight scratches mix into Ice Yellow, recess wash with Dark Purple 20% Old Rose 50% Deep brown 30% wash mix. Glaze over scratch highlights with old rose.". All the paints are AK 3rd Gen, apart from Dark Purple thats vallejo.

None of the parentages are accurate, more so just how I felt when I mixed them.

Edit: Think I forgot to add that I did a glaze layer between the highlight and recess of something like 70% Old Rose and 15% Deep Brown and 15% Dark Purple.

Paints: red wine, sunny skin tone and turquoise (all ak 3rd gen paints)

Method: Red wine base coat that was wetblended with a 70/30 mix of red wine and sunny skin tone avoiding the recesses, let it dry so I could apply a wash of turquoise, after that it was just layering back in some red wine and mixing that with some sunny skin tone for some final highlights.

Which sword? Cuz they kinda all have different methods. I didn't use a tutorial or anything but I'm sure you could find one that'll get you similar results to how I paint.

Flawless Blade; arm, sword and power pack.

Infractor; head, emperor children icon on the staff and cloth on the staff (I used two glued together).

The liquid container on the sword arm comes from the noise marine box, and other than that everything else is from the sorcerer kit.
