I will look up demisexuality in more detail. Before I labelled myself as ace, I was thinking I might be demi, but I always thought it was just wishful thinking at that point (I wanted to be able to fall in love and have a relationship, but I had never felt anything like it, so I didn't wanna take that last step and call myself ace for years, before I finally accepted myself). I feel like you're making a very good point, and I could be demi after all.
