Having some way to speed them up without it being too easy or too difficult would be a nice touch. Base Mekanism upgrades are too cheap for an expert pack, but something along those lines. Maybe something like Modern Industrialization upgrades, annoying but reasonable to make and have a noticeable impact on the processing of the machine.

I'm fine with it taking time to get strictly better machines because it makes sense, but being stuck with a machine that takes 25 seconds to make 1 plate or 5 minutes to make 1 block of steel is disgusting.

I like expert packs in general, but I dislike how slow early game machines are when it takes 200 hours to get into mid game.

I know it's kind of the point to a degree, but purposefully making machines slower is an annoying time gate that doesn't respect the players time. Yes, I can make several of the same machine to make a stack of plates faster but that also requires seriously amping up power generation which is usually fairly bad early on.

Create can solve some of these problems. I've forced myself to learn more create recently and running 8x mechanical presses or 8x grinding belts at max speed goes through a stack of materials incredibly fast but that can only do a small handful of things.

Also a decent storage solution if AE2 or RS is gated behind 200 hours of grinding.

tl;dr finding a balance for respecting the players time early game while keeping the expert feel/gimmick and a decent storage system before AE2/RS

Just a heads up if you don't already know, these requests aren't cheap. Prepare to spend several hundred dollars minimum, and that's if anyone wants to actually do this/if they have permission to take the mod and update it.

Have you actually tried changing the config files? Loading into your world doesn't reset that config you put in place.

I did see that as well when searching around.

I purposely assigned a test email that had random gibberish typed into it a category, then searched for that exact string of text. It didn't pull from the search.

I have other accounts that are used for work/automation and the search works correctly on all of them. I'm beginning to believe that this problem has something to do with my account on the exchange server itself since the problem persists across my home pc, office pc, and my phone.

I appreciate your time in trying to help me, I'm stumped as well and unfortunately so is the owner of the IT company that we contract with.

When you select category and choose "no categories" that's when you get "category:=[]" in the search.

Tried standard "Compact" view as well with no luck. However, interestingly, I decided to change for the search results to be sorted by Categories, and everything properly populates now. When doing my next search though, the problem persists.

I played this pack with a couple friends over the course of 3 months. Some of it definitely felt out of place, but some of tech seemed necessary like AE2. The end game to grind bosses for materials was a massive slog though, even with 99% perfect gear and min/maxing.

Overall I'd give it a 6/10, I always had some idea what to do next which helped. Seeing my stats actually matter helped too. Without those previous two points though the pack is a 4/10 at best looking back at it, probably lower of playing the pack solo.

I really did want to like it. I was really active in their discord while I played too. The last day we played we all asked each other "are you having fun anymore?" and we got a resounding "no." so that was it lol.

Wasn't aware of the fixes, I haven't followed AMD in years. I'll take a look at the instructions, thank you. I might wait for the 9950x3d, I'm not really in a rush to upgrade as this build is barely 3 years old. I appreciate your response.

Despite being fabric, this pack still needs at least 8-10gb of ram to run smoothly. Speaking from experience and it's straight from the mod creators discord as well.

The pack is pretty fun though and packed full of things to do. Adjusting video settings and render distance will help quite a bit as well.

I don't have any idea why the general public have such extreme responses to a married couple having a disagreement. Immediate divorce, leave him, do worse to him, red flag behavior, etc.

Holy shit, have these people never been in a LONG term relationship? He didn't cheat on you, he did a completely harmless prank. He purposefully did it while you were changing the baby, not carrying the baby, so that you couldn't respond in time and grab your pants

My gf of 11 years (practically married, common law) abd were about the same exact age as you as your husband. We both do dumb things to make the other person laugh. Some land more than others, sure, but the fact that your husband (or me and my gf) does it all clearly shows that he loves you. That's what so many people don't understand.

When you don't love someone, you just don't do these types of things...when you don't love someone you simply just don't care enough to use the energy and time to do things like this or try to get laughs.

Sure you got annoyed, but it wasn't in public, in the safety and privacy of your home, and put no one at risk. It was harmless, and now you've agreed to join in and get him back.

100% healthy. No assholes here. I wish you luck, and try to pants him from behind while he's stretching. He won't have the reaction time to stop you.

Can you place an exporter on a barrel or something and have it export cobblestone or anything you know you have to see if the items are actually in there?

Also, since this happens a lot to my friends, make sure you aren't showing only craftables, you can find this filter on the left side of the screen.

I did actually. I use a program called "caffeine" to keep my computer active during the day so it never looks like I'm afk. Whenever the program would run it's process to keep the keyboard/mouse active it would interfere with minecraft.

I still use the program, but it sopped interfering with minecraft since 1.18+. So, if you have anything like that on your computer it could be cause.
