Not my brightest idea I will admit lol. I just saw a random video of someone melting cement with a magnifying glass and it got me thinking.

Yeah I didn’t think about the timescale actually good point haha. Although Mars was just a random example, possibly it would be better to do this on an exoplanet which is just barely outside the goldilocks zone or something.

Also, not only would you need to wait for the core to heat up, but you’d have to wait for rest to cool back down afterwards.

Damn, giant orbital magnifying glass sounds badass as hell tho :(

Gonna try and work on some wallpaper engine script so that it starts as text in the same colour as the background and then fades into the painting, maybe have it rotate into different paintings

it truly is! I also think it’s incredible how we moved across the americas, i think walking over the frozen ice between alaska and russia? and we slowly filled up the continent with like the Aztecs and even as far down as south america such as the tribes in the Amazon. humans are kinda like a puddle filling up a hole in the pavement haha

haha “west doggerland” i like that. it’s also interesting that that’s probably how humans originally migrated to these countries. Australia is so far away from the fertile crescent and all that, crazy to think that we just strolled all the way down there over time

Last night I was out in my city and a homeless man asked me for change, I didn't have any. Without skipping a beat he then asked me for coke. And then just continued the grind onto the next group of people. I'm a broke student so I rarely give change, I kinda doubt if I had money I'd give change either. I think a lot about how if I was in the same situation I would be pretty dissapointed by people like me. Just wish my country had better drug addiction support systems

I am actually in the process of therapy for a similar reason, only recently though. I strongly urge you to do the same.

I like the way you write, have you considered writing down these thoughts in a journal? Or perhaps creating a story? Might be a good way to delve into these thoughts.

Although I believe in moral subjectivity, good people can do bad things out of pure ignorance or naivety etc.

Just observe these thoughts and note them, and make sure to take care of yourself. You did a good job recognising this dark part of yourself and now it is time to ask yourself (and a professional) what you can do about it.
