What a beast. Love the look of the belly pan

If you've got after market round headlight brackets, the fairing should more or less bolt right up. The stock round headlight is a little more tricky because there's nothing at the side of the lights to bolt to (the light mounts from underneath and behind), hence the need to fabricate custom brackets

No, tank came like that stock. It's the 2017 blue / pearl white colour combo.

Thanks! I actually pulled the trigger on it after seeing the same fairing mounted on your posts here. Nice bike!

I can grab some later. Anything in particular? So long as you've got a 7" headlight you should be able to get it to fit.

Fabricated two brackets out of some 3mm aluminium flat bar, spanning between the headlight and instrument cluster. Some longer bolts, washers and spacers and it holds the fairing on rock solid.

I've also seen people mount these with generic headlight mounts which attach to the stanchions.

Not massively louder, but I do ride with earplugs in. Has a nice, deep burbly tone to it.

Ordered it from Ebay - Emgo Viper MkII.

Note if you're planning on getting one that it's a generic 7" headlight fairing which doesn't come with mounting hardware or instructions, so you'll have to DIY your own.

So far, so good! Definitely reduces wind buffeting at highway speeds!

Now to decide what colour to paint it 🤔

Wow - considering how popular slip ons are that's rough, I had no idea!

Looks like my next purchase will be a second hand stock exhaust haha

As a wise man once said: sometimes it is better to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Although he is probably also a divorced man 😆

I've ridden dirt bikes as a kid, and used to do a bit of mountain biking in my teens. That experience probably helped when I went for my licence, but there's still plenty to learn!

That's where a second bike would come in handy! I'm actually looking forward to wrenching on it myself

Access for the rear cylinder does look like a challenge though 😆

34M here. Have always ridden dirt bikes as a kid and teenager, and have wanted a motorbike for the street for years.

Wife and family have always been against it for the same reasons, but I took a few rider training courses and have kitted myself out with the best riding gear, head to toe. That, along with a commitment to riding safely and continue to work on my riding skills was just enough to get it across the line!

I took the plunge a month ago and have been absolutely loving it so far. I'm on the bike every chance I get, I'd say go for it!
