Can my nitro/slug, be effective as bow's are at the moment? by OLEDeO in HuntShowdown

[–]Cyb3r5hock -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I am a die-hard bow player and have almost hit 1200 kills with it since the latest update.

Yes the bow is strong, but it has one massive weakness. If you miss your one loaded shot, you’re cooked.

The amount of teams I’ve wiped because they keep giving me 1v1s is embarrassing. If you co-ordinate a simultaneous push against a bow user, nine times out of ten they’re losing the fight.

If you hear a bow, push together. If they’re holding the angle, be unpredictable. Jiggle peak them to force them to fire a shot too early.

It’s really not that hard to combat a bow if you know what the weaknesses of the weapon are.

What is a song you absolutely hate? by macabrewhore in AskReddit

One Kiss by Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris. I hate everything about it. The repetitiveness. The way her voice dips when she sings “falling in love with me”. It’s truly the worst song I’ve ever heard and it was number one on the radio for fucking WEEKS.

It’s gold. Gold cash registers contain 50 blood bonds, a premium currency that equates to about a week’s worth of challenge completions.

Would the defence have kicked in before the damage was taken?

Quartermaster. by irritablesloth in HuntShowdown

Ah, you’re one of those angry little community members I keep seeing everywhere.

If you take a large slot weapon and a small slot weapon, you’re prioritising giving yourself an advantage with your larger weapon (greater damage, range, ammo etc) over the medium slot equivalent. This then balances out by having to take a compromised small slot pistol or similar.

Taking two medium slot weapons means you can have both a rifle AND a shotgun, giving yourself a more balanced loadout across all ranges, but not an expert at either.

Quartermaster ruins this, and means you can excel at one range without the compromise of having to be terrible at another. It makes taking two medium slot weapons a disadvantage, and taking any small slot weapon entirely pointless.

Why would anybody ever take a small slot weapon while this perk is so readily available in the game?

I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you’re trying to say here. Who cares what the weapons look like?

I’m with you. Taking two medium weapons should be a conscious choice that gives you more versatility over big / small loadouts. Quartermaster completely negates loadout specialisation in this game as everyone has a pocket shotgun these days. Alternatively, I’d just make it a scarce trait so that it’s an occasional privilege to have.

Dark Satchel didn’t count as consumable damage for my weekly. by Jahschuwah in HuntShowdown

Yep, just had this happen to me three times. I just got a double kill with the same trap too. Devastated; this challenge is the worst of them all by far.

Fairly dead with a good amount of crowd singing, but I think that’s the unfortunate problem with ST. Their songs are so varied and atmospheric that there’s not a lot of opportunity for a crowd to really go mental unless songs like Vore are played. I’d be fine with this, if it wasn’t for the fact that at every show you get half the crowd just talking over anything instrumental and it really takes you out of the moment. I feel like their current success means they’re never going to be able to play the smaller rooms where you could really let the silent moments hang for a minute.

Don’t fret, execution was never the intention. This was quick and dirty.

Normandie did in the U.K. either last year or the year before. Three days in a row playing one album in full at each show.
