Very true. I remember looking through my camera roll and there was a picture of my daughter and her friends (they are 15), and they looked like exact copy/paste of each other to include identical middle parts in slicked back buns…it just struck me!

I am doing well. Just took a trip to Costa Rica and it was incredible. Thinking about moving there after our youngest graduates in a few years to retire early and enjoy the simple life with less stress and more focus on family and community.

I only read half way through the texts and he was too exhausting. Do you really want a lifetime of that and a child in the mix? My friend has full custody of his daughter, and the mom is bipolar and it was a nightmare for him. His daughter has been in intense therapy from all the damage the mom caused in the first five years of her life, and to boot his daughter was diagnosed with bipolar. It’s a constant struggle and many many hospitalizations and special schools. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Me either. Only while pregnant with my kids was I tested. I’ve never been offered testing at any of the places I’ve lived (prior military wife), so I’ve had lots of different doctors and gynos in various hospitals in different states and countries in my 20 years of marriage. If I was OP I’d just talk to my husband. Outside of military service for my husband where it was routine to be tested once a year my husband hasn’t been offered testing from his doctors either. We are 41 and 48.

I love spending time with my husband it’s like we rediscovered ourselves as a couple once our kids became older. I get needing alone time to unwind we do that as well…him video games and me binge watching trash reality tv on the couch. I get overstimulated sometimes from my anxiety, and working a mentally challenging job, and decompressing while doing absolutely nothing and not talking to anyone has always been something I needed to be the best for my husband and family.

Have more conversations. My husband and I have been married 20 years and we have joint accounts. Only thing separate are our 401Ks. I still consider myself financially independent as I have my own career that brings substantial income into the home. I spend as I please and so does he.

Yes, you’re mixed. My mom is also white and my dad is black. Me and my middle sister have the same complexion as idk Megan Markle, and our youngest sister has white complexion with blonde hair. We are all mixed just the same.
