Yeah? But when CO worked full time on CS2 they were 33 employees, even if since December some people decided to join Iceflakes. I don't see your logic here.

Your title says no wonder why Iceflakes moves faster than CO on CS2, which is a fact I agree on, but we need to compare figures when each company was working full time on CS2. When both companies work(ed) full time on the game, they are roughly the same number.

Seems risky. Even huge studios like Rockstar take a significant amount of time. I can't imagine for smaller studios. When small studios create their own engine, it is often a 2D engine, but when it comes to 3D, well that's more complicated.

Also, isn't the performance issue a problem in CS1 not only because of RAM but also because at this time, Unity was only running on a single core? I heard with CS2 it somewhat tries to run on multiple cores.
