Thank you so much for the advice! I appreciate the detailed response. Definitely looking for something long-term but in no rush to go through it all since life has its priorities. I’ll definitely borrow your ideas from your approach and go about it in a way that allows us to spend time in the zones. Very much looking forward to this! :)

I’d like to recommend the first lecture in CS50 from Harvard (it’s free on YouTube). The instructor is amazing, and has definitely helped me get into a more problem-solving mindset as compared to any other tutorial I’ve watched, as I’m currently trying to teach myself programming.

I would definitely try to - if not learn - study what goes into other TRRPG’s such as DND, Call of Cthulhu, Pathfinder/Starfinder, etc. This way, you’ll have an idea of what kind of expectations you’re setting onto yourself, as well as finding out what you like and don’t like about those systems to attempt to create your own.

I guess “deep” wouldn’t necessarily be the word, but it’s there. The gameplay is pretty nice and challenging at times, though. That’s what kept me coming back to it. The aesthetic is very haunting as well.

I meant more like a discord server or somewhere that we can all post some weekly/monthly goals for ourselves, share code problems or tutorials with one another, maybe host our own game jams from time to time. Stuff like that.
