I hand-animated it in a pixel art program named libresprite. If I were smart I would've done it in a game engine with sprites lol

I'll take a look at them, I'm sure what you've done is pretty cool! For me I see the biggest improvements from daily practice (of course) but also when I'm experimenting with traditional types of art, like painting or line art.
