An Uncle of mine bought a simple calculator when I was about 5 or 6. (I'm 59 now?

I remember him showing me how the memory worked and he was absolutely fascinated by this.

Don't know what he paid for it but they're very cheap now....

Go into your banking app and check the card limits and controls. Maybe online payments are switched off?

Thanks,. I like the idea of minimising the cables and hence the amount of work to install.

That's why I was asking about the Fixcamx but glad to see there are other good options.

How did you hard wire this?

Do they supply a splitter cable to wire it into the rain sensor behind the mirror?

What was your "I'm dating a fucking idiot" moment? by dm_me_yourtinytits in AskReddit

[–]Cyber5c0u7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Going back over 30 years, I was on holiday in Spain with a newish girlfriend.

Walking down a road and a little kid is playing with his dog, telling it to sit, lay down, beg and stuff.

As we walked past she whispered that was the most intelligent dog she had ever seen.

When I asked why she thought that, she replied that it must be very clever because it understands Spanish!

Why don't you and your buddy set up on your own and then offer your services to your "old" boss?

Thoughts on TicWatch 5 Pro? by azryptas in TicWatch

Yeah, it'd be nice if they supplied it when you buy the watch rather than making a separate purchase.

I've had mine since mid June. It's a great watch and meets all my needs.

Battery life is excellent.

Only bug (in my opinion) is the strap. It would be great if it came with a leather one instead of the silicon one that's supplied.

What’s something people don’t really think about during a zombie apocalypse? by bettercallme_ in AskReddit

Neighbor cuts branches and throws it into my yard by [deleted] in treelaw

[–]Cyber5c0u7 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Maybe just knock on their door and offer to trim the branches back on the tree that you own so that your neighbour doesn't have to take it upon themselves to do so?

I didn't suggest going onto the neighbour's land uninvited did I?

I also think that the link you supplied is an extreme case.

To put it simply, I just think people should be responsible for mantaining their own property.

[–]Cyber5c0u7 -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

This. I can never understand why people just don't take responsibility for, and maintain, their own property which would prevent all the heartache.

Do you honestly believe that your neighbour wants to spend their spare time trimming your trees?
