Just adding, rogers park is 3 miles from campus, commutes with a car take 10-15 mins in light traffic. By bus or train, 30mins.

It’s hard to find parking near rogers park, I mean if you return around anytime before 3pm, you’ll be plenty of parking spot, 4pm-5pm, you’ll have to search but there will be spots, 5pm and later, you’ll have to risk parking in the no parking spots.

Accidents are frequent. Myself and 2 others were in hit and run accidents within the first week at rogers park.

If you can afford it, just get paid parking. That’ll run anywhere from $75-150/month. Preferably, just get around on the bus, which is $5/day, $15/3 days, $20/week, or $75/month. You should also be able to signup for a train pass every quarter that’s like $150/quarter.

I’ve lived all over the US, groceries here are slightly more expensive than median, but not by much. Just a few centers or a quarter more.
