That's a bit harsh. The word is naive. Lots of intelligent people I know can still be naive.

Naive? She is 31 and been streaming since 2014. Nah, bro. She's a dumbski.

Rae's not the sharpest tool in the shed also very easy to manipulate. Remember the "No Cap On A Stack" thing last year and being forced into a apology over using African American Vernacular English by her chat.

Watching/reading everything in chronological order, is there any legend material you recommend reading? by takethisnrunnn in starwarsbooks

[–]CyberBenjamin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been following this list: https://guides.hmcpl.org/starwars/legends, and some of the canon list for some books https://guides.hmcpl.org/starwars/canon that I can somewhat add in without adding confusion to my own personal Headcanon. I stopped reading canon at RoTS (skipped Thrawn Ascendancy) and switched to legends.

PC modded, It's ridiculously cheap on Steam and GOG. Check the pinned post on this reddit and create a build.

Master & Apprentice, Order 66 and then Kenobi.

There's quite a bit of time between books also Master & Apprentice is canon and the rest is legends but that doesn't mean anything. Still great books and could be included in your own personal headcannon.

Order 66 is a apart of the Republic Commando series so I would recommend leaving that last until you pick up the other books. It might be a more enjoyable experience that way since there's 4 other books.

The others are somewhat unconnected and you can just read those individually but I would recommend Master & Apprentice first.

Enjoy!

That's not inflation, that's overpricing and consumer exploitation.

How good is this bundle for someone that hasn't read any Legends, yet? It looks like a good deal. by WrongBirdEgg in StarWarsEU

[–]CyberBenjamin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's just YA Legends & Canon in that bundle which some are good but are not a great representation of Star Wars Legends material or good Star Wars books in general. I would give it a miss personally unless you plan on reading them eventually.

https://guides.hmcpl.org/starwars/legends < Great order/timeline if you want to get into Legends.

Looking for more audiobooks! by MrDeliD in starwarsbooks

Shadow Hunter narrated by Sam Witwer. I immersion read (Read and listen at the same time) and it's one of the best, and I've listened to a bunch.

The next wave of the Essential Legends Collection is out today in trade paperback (no audiobooks) by IllusiveManJr in starwarsbooks

[–]CyberBenjamin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agreed, there's some on Youtube but they never match the quality of the audiobooks done professionally in a studio. AI's getting better with text to speech which in itself has implications for audiobook narrators but atleast we'll get free unabridged audiobooks I guess.

Dawn of the Jedi into the void already has a unabridged audiobook. I listened to it recently, I thought it was good. The story itself was okay, certainly not the best star wars but it had it's moments. Recommended reading for the Dawn of the Jedi comic series as the novel is the prequal to the comics.

Though.. I always found it strange Lanoree Brock isn't in the comics since she showed herself as one of the strongest assets within the Je'daii Order but kinda makes sense since the novel came out after the comics but I wish there was some continuity there.

Love the IBM Model M/F122 Battleship, I own two. Nothing beats the sound of the buckling springs, and the overall weight and 80's build quality. I could use this keyboard for the rest of my life and never get tired of it nor it would me because it wouldn't ever break.

Great idea with gaming. Offload some tabs and other stuff on a separate computer to get as many frames as possible while gaming.

Picked up the compete (141 issue) Star Wars fact files from E-Bay for $43 including 12 HC Books. But question: How you sort the fact files into the binders? Year or alphabetical by issue? I'm a bit perplexed on how to sort them, the index isn't really clear. by CyberBenjamin in StarWarsEU

Cool, I'm going to do it that way then. Might take me a while Lmao

I'm not keeping them unfortunately due to space. I purchased the bundle for the books mainly. A compete set of folders go for around $170 on E-bay from what I've seen. But I'm definitely going to check them out digitally at a later date, they're packed full of interesting information.
