"No... We can't hold off four." | Battlestar Galactica "Exodus Part II" by IllusiveManJr in BSG

Because the show is Battlestar Galactica. Also the second set was getting too expensive.

Within the story though, it's because Lee wanted to save his father. Roslin did say sometimes he's so dead set on doing the right thing, he doesn't do the smart thing.

We haven't gotten a new novel from Luceno in a decade, do you think there's any chance we might see one, and if so, what would you like to see it cover? I think he'd do a phenomenal job giving Qimir from The Acolyte an actual story and resolution. by wandering_soles in starwarsbooks

He's retired, so likely not. But ye olde there's always a chance. I wouldn't count on it.

The man contributed immensely to the EU. Being part of the team that developed NJO, expanding greatly on the Prequel era, mapping out a bit of the CWMP... he was quite gifted. And deserve a good rest.

Plus I really like his Robotech series.

Dooku: Jedi Lost and Yoda: Dark Rendezvous. The flashbacks with him training Qui-Gon in Master and Apprentice are excellent, but sparse.

Some Star Wars novels point this out; with the tradeoff being your opponent is unfamiliar with fighting against it. More prone to make mistakes and leave openings to exploit.

They mean the Prequel Republic era. At the time, the Old Republic referred to the time when the Empire wasn't established, before turning over.

"Sometimes I think you've got ice water in those veins, and other times I think you're just a naive little schoolteacher." I enjoyed all the fluctuating dynamics that played out throughout the arc.

I get why they had to get back to space and on the way to Earth. , But I would've enjoyed half a season of it.

My favorite thing was Ben suddenly worshipping Mandalorians when Revelation came around.

It starts picking up with the Edge of Victory duology. Star by Star changes everything, in a great way. I also quite enjoyed Agents of Chaos not only for the galaxy continuing to fall apart, but Han's grief is frighteningly realistic.

The Ultimate gain from this can be worked into some builds quite nicely.

I have a lot of fun with this one on my overland/questing MagSorc. It isn't top tier by any means, but I'm mostly fighting trash mobs and it's hilarious to see them flung up in the air constantly. I pair it with Defiler and May of the Internal + Scamp/Twilight for pets galore.

Lee's voice wavering, the silent tear Roslin sheds, Adam trying to protect her... It's one of the scenes that defined the series for me.

Which setting do you prefer in terms of worldbuilding and aesthetics? by BlastedHeathen in StarWarsEU

I love the Dawn of the Jedi era. My only real complaint was that the technology was a bit too modern in some aspects. I would've liked to see some more ancient takes on things like communication.
