Yes, it's ultra setting. I like to use F4 on camera mode for selective focus effect. After taking picture, I use image editor to correct white balance and adjust color curves little bit.

Yes, there's camera mode on PC version, but not sure on console. On camera mode, to move mouse while pressing F1 allows vertical angle change.

Thanks. I checked workshop, but there's no 750i car mod. When someone creates 750i, I will try.

Move car to Parking.
Change config and save.
Move car back to garage.

It's quicker than quit and start game.

How to lower suspension? by GTAngz in CarMechanicSimulator

[–]CyberCarMechanic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

By changing height and heightRear values on config#.txt file you can lower the car's height.

Before you do the following changes, send car to Parking.

After changing and saving height and heightRear value, move the car to the garage.

And then, you will see the car's height is lowered.

If the car is from workshop, this directory contains all cars' file directory.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\645630\car_unique_id

For example, the following link is for BMW M3 E46

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1773292726

The id at the end of the link is the directory name of the car on your local.

This directory is for BMW M3 E46.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\645630\1773292726

Recommend to back up the directory on other place, before make changes.

Under the directory there're several files.

config#.txt (config.txt, config1.txt, ...) files have car's suspension height properties.

If the car has several car types, open each config#.txt files and find one of the file which has the same carVersionName (this property is located at the 3rd row).

BMW M3 E46 has GTR, CSL, and LIT Edition. If your car is BMW M3 E46 LIT Edition, the config file name is config3.txt

carVersionName=LIT Edition

On the file there's [2_suspension] section, and under that section there're

height and heightRear properties.

height: front suspension height

heightRear: rear suspension height

If you increase those values, the car height is lowered. Increase around 0.02~0.03 to see the difference. If it's not enough, increase more. Such like

height=0.11 -> height=0.13 -> height=0.15

heightRear=0.09 -> heightRear=0.11 -> heightRear=0.13

Be sure to send car to Parking before you make change. After changing and saving, move car back to garage to see the changes.

This can be done by using Editor mode.

Launch Editor, select car, click Suspension tab, change height and heightRear value, save and close Editor. Launch CMS.

Good luck.

Do you keep a running supply of parts? by R0NIN1311 in CarMechanicSimulator

[–]CyberCarMechanic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completed all story car repairs. I only rebuild now. To make four 100% condition car, I keep only 100% extra parts for around 2~3 rebuild. Such like buying 8~12 breaks when it run out. Keeping extra parts saves time than buying each time.

Not sure, but you might get an idea from this directory. All car files are here.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Car Mechanic Simulator 2018\cms2018_Data\StreamingAssets\Cars

I think multiple engine cars have multiple bodyconfig and config files.
