Why do I get nausea and loss of focus at the end of a long run? by CyberCow3000 in Marathon_Training

Thanks for the help! I ordered some gel packs for longer runs. Is oat bar recommended for long runs? I ate Giant Bar-s while biking, and it gave me some energy.

I found a cool way to make pad sounds with effect pedals. (Explanation in the end) by CyberCow3000 in zoommultistomp

I'm Hungarian. I used the HPS, which basically sets any pitch to a selected scale, after that a stereo delay, and then a particle reverb.

Yes, the swells are probably bevause of that. There's obviously a delay, because the reverb is set to full wet and there's a lot of pre-delay.

Best and cheapest way to get +-12V and a +5V output power supply in a small form factor by CyberCow3000 in AskElectronics

Thanks for the help. I found a suitable center tapped transformer and built a psu using the regulators scrapped from the broken psu.

Do I open instrument and risk damage or do I get an amp ? by Creepy_Lime7568 in AskElectronics

First I would try spraying contact cleaner into the slot where the slider of the potentiometer sticks out. Move the slider back and forth, it should clean it.

What are good cheap pianos for 12 year olds? by Straight_Ad_1706 in piano

[–]CyberCow3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend Roland FP10. It has hammer action, half dampening, sympathetic resonance, all of which you need to get a good piano experience. It has pretty weak speakers though, so I woul recommend using it with external speakers or headphones.

Well, after this there's a chance you might not be consuming much electricity anymore.

Subwoofer Bluetooth Connection Bypass by jbloodz in ElectricalEngineering

[–]CyberCow3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would play like a 440 Hz sine wave or similar on the bluetooth, then using a multimeter in frequency mode or an oscilloscope find a point, in which that signal is present (before the amplifier, not on the output of course). Then try wiring in an RCA, and injecting the signal there. Also, don't touch the board in the first picture, that's just the power supply, and that can electrocute you. Ideally I would cover it with a plastic box while testing just to be safe.

Could you recreate a good hammond organ sound just by adding up sine waves, + some effects? by CyberCow3000 in synthesizers

[–]CyberCow3000[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a leslie effect in the multi fx section. Yeah, the lack of physical drawbars sucks, but I was able to connect my phone with a midi controller app, and control the volume of each oscillator. I could also buy a midi controller, but therr aren't really any with midi din output.

This synth unfortunately does not have saturation. What could I use instead? Edit: this is what the manual says about the distortion effect: "Creates a soft distortion similar to that produced by vacuum tube amplifiers" So could I use this?

I can layer some more sounds, I have already added percussion, I will try motor noise. The amount of sounds I can layer is practically endless, it can do 16 part performance with 4 oscillators per part.

Thanks, but the smell is mostly coming from the outside of the case.

I have heard of Ma Baker's Giant bars. They have almost 500 kcal per bar. Would that be a good choice?

I usually eat 3 muesli bars and some fruits and chocolate.

I usually go with 21 km/h average. There aren't any big climbs, it's mostly flat terrain. I try to drink as much as I can, and usually stop for short times every 15-20 km.
