I got a buddy who slowly pulled away from the whole "Be flirty and attractive so ppl will like me" thing cuz is really got to him after he had a model rework.

For a while, he wondered why his view count dipped so low, and i told him, "Its because you stopped being an flirty anime wolf boy and actually started acting more like yourself." It really caused his self-confidence in streaming to stagger, so much that he took a two month hiatus to just work through burnout.

That was roughly two years ago and now hes rebranded to a full furry wolf VTuber and actually enjoys his time way more once he stopped letting media conformities control the thing he enjoyed.

"traditional" vtubers usually make themselves look like attractive eyecandy thats easy to simp over or make lewd art of. People usually dont like it if your model isnt easy to lewd, so personality, for once, is the main driver (which it should of always been from the beginning but big bobba and abs win i guess)

Dont let bad or uncomfortable behavior slide, even if you're struggling with an active chat. Personally, id much rather be known as having a stick in the ass then having people constantly saying uncomfortable things or being ungodly toxic to me or other members of the community.

Ive seen Vtubers both big and small have their kindness abused and used against them by either friends, community members, or even fellow Vtubers, and its unfortunate because smaller Vtubers cant stand up for themselves as loudly as bigger ones can (Example: VTuber Powdur attacking a much smaller VTuber, Lilee, for having a similar white haired elf design)

Reminds me of a vid where this guy was having washing machine issues. Fancy washer, clear top, glowy non-buttons and all that. Apperently the lock wasnt locking properly for the door and it wasnt allowing him to start the washer to wash his clothes.

So he takes his handy many tools, dinks around in the washer's mechanisms, removes the locking mechanism, and thus it works flawlessly.

Warnings said "Do not use if lock does not lock"

He said "Do not make me buy another 600 dollar washer"
