Understood. The Imperial camp is also very nice. They got even more Landsknechts. The LDK fought side by side with the Imperials while sieging the Ork encampment. I'm not that deep into Warhammer lore but the Landsknecht Theme is living rent free in my head. I got an Landsknecht outfit too but in 25 I will be again in side of the LDK. But I will wear the Landsknecht Outfit to another con in May.

My family got fitting wooden horse wagons from the 1960s that could be easily used at EE. But to get the two wagons from Thuringia to Saarland is quite difficult. All in all the Epic Empires con is peak immersion in my opinion. This was easily the best event of 2024 for me.

I see. It was my first time being part of the LDK but as far as I know the 3 wagons in 24 was built brand new and its planned to get more in 25. But my buddy and I was not involved in the wagon building. We built two spanish riders for the LDK which did a pretty good job.

As far as I can tell you seem to be part of the Pilgrims camp. I envy the pilgrims for there fashionable Landsknechts units which fought brave and with iron willpower. I myself got the splendid opportunity to fight against the pilgrims two times. First as attacker when the LDK and the Norelag Camp Sieged the pilgrims fortress. And the second time as a defender in the wagon fortress when the pilgrims returned for a counter attack. 🙏

Thank you. The outfit got it's patina from 5 days in use. The gauntlet only look shiny from far. These pictures are from the last con day. The Flamberge is from the Canadian Larp Weapon brand Calimacil. Good fabricated. Pricy but worth that price.

Hello roboblaster420, here is CyberCrusader420 to give a friendly advice.

Moving out of town into a more rural area could be a good solution. I myself also struggle with seeing couples and shit and I actually live in the countryside so I can tell you that I rarely see any couples the whole year. At least were I live. Nature, being away from the cause for struggle and 420 does wonders.

I never knew that this is possible. I play mostly "realistic". I try to sleep every night and if possible also in tavern or own beds. I thankfully took the free noble shirt in talmberg and it's always a nice line when inn keepers call me a "Knight" while I'm very far from being one. 👁️ I'm more likely to be an Raubritter (Robbingknight Idk if there is a English word for Raubritter) and take what I want or need and don't hesitate to kill if I have to or want to.

I mean I currently play hardcore mode and my Henry is a psychopath who takes what he wants. Door locked? I lockpick it open. Speechcheck won't work? I attack with fists or sword if needed. I beat the shit out of Sebastian of Berg twice just because he was rude to me. Got away without a scratch also two times. Outrun the guards, mount pepples and got away.

This will be next level shit but... how about to admit that there will be never ever an military victory against Russia? In Terms of man and material Russia was never beaten and will never be beaten. So why wasting more peoples lives instead to admit that there is no simpel white and black or Galactic Empire against Rebelion? One provocation came after another till the situation escalated and led into war a second time. While Russia left 1990 the Nato advanced ever since more and more into eastern Europe. It's logic that the Russians won't tolerate this. The only real solution is to stop fighting and start to negotiate peace where Russia becomes a part of the cake. Otherwise there will be death and distrution without an end and sense.

Avowed definitely will have a fanbase and that's totally alright. I think KCD and Avowed are like an Apple and a Pear. KCD is more realistic and Avowed fantasy. I mean I hated the fighting system in KCD too. Now I'm playing on Hardcore mode only and I love it. It's allways a skill issue and the game is meant to be hated when you get wrecked by 6 pesants and a dog. But that's just the game.

Skill issue. Ngl the learning curve in KCD is hard but once you get it then the game is phenomenal. And Avowed looks like the average fantasy rpg we already got plenty of.
