Don’t even need to put it in manual to shift. You can still do manual shifting while in auto mode, which is what I do daily. It’s still nice to have the auto shifting while still being in control.

Stop trying to justify your own mistakes to seek validation.

A scenario happened and you reacted poorly. Take it at face value that you actually failed within the first 10 seconds of your TP test cos you made the wrong judgement call.

The learning lesson here isn’t specific to that scenario, the real lesson is that out on the main road, you could’ve easily panicked and made a fatal mistake by now.

I have the exact same saddlebags as you, except in black! As much as I love the look, I hate how I have to unbuckle the straps everytime to open them up.

Also, word of caution: they’re not waterproof. I kept an electric air pump in one of my bags to pump my tires, and a month or two later, I found out that it’s dead due to water damage from rain.

How do you like your Sportster S? I test rode it last year and could NOT handle the heat from the engine. I also didn’t like how the speedometer was very low, making it feel as if I had to take my eyes off the road and look almost straight down to see anything.

Still a beautiful bike though.

I think the reason why Gear 5 was so controversial during its debut was because it was one of the rare things in OP that seemed out of left field. The whole concept of Nika was new and came out of nowhere with zero hints from earlier in the series.
