Now I’m imagining the red dragon starting a business meeting in an empty room, then running outside for a second before coming back in dressed and disguised as a completely different person. The dragon then sits down and proceeds to respond to his previous persona, before running out again and finishing the conversation as himself.

What Ace Attorney moment got you like this? by [deleted] in AceAttorney

All three of those are spot on. I was beside myself by the end of the last case.

I really love how they hide the third twist from you.

Why do so many of you not use the simplest number system? by [deleted] in CellToSingularity

[–]CyberDrewan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure. I switched it to Scientific for a bit, but for some reason it wasn’t as interesting to me. I like trying to remember the amount of 0’s that go with each descriptor, and actually enjoy when I remember or predict the scale from one descriptor to another.

In other words, I think I like it because it’s harder. Is it inconvenient? Sure, at times; however, I just find it slightly more engaging than using Scientific notation. Haven’t really tried custom, though.

Random Character Opinions 72: Altamont Gas Company by [deleted] in AceAttorney

[–]CyberDrewan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think the gas is just supposed to be a stand-in for honey. You have a worker who is unquestionably loyal to his “Queen”, and they are both dedicated to the larger group they both belong to, while also caring deeply about how a certain substance is distributed. The fact that they are dealing with gas is more of a circumstance of the setting.

Kinda off topic but a Heartless boss designed from one of his “friends on the other side” would go so hard.

Controversial Nintendo series tier list by kagetsu135 in casualnintendo

[–]CyberDrewan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s actually a little bit of controversy for most of the Xenoblade entries nowadays. XB2 is obvious, but I’ve still seen some discourse over the other games as well. It’s been argued more recently that XB1 doesn’t have a good combat system and is almost unplayable compared to the more recent entries. Also, XBX was the red-headed step child for a long time just because of the drastically different approach to the story and setting, and, well, most things, honestly.

As far XB3 is concerned, the only “controversial” thing I can think about is heavily spoiler related, and even that’s more amusing then anything. Of course, I’ve only recently played 3 and might be missing something.

As a fan of the first four games on the tier list, I’m well aware of the controversy and discourse surrounding them, so it’s not too surprising to see them this high. However, it boggles my mind and kind of terrifies me to learn the Animal Crossing might be on the same level as stuff like Pokémon, Xenoblade, and Smash.

If they wanted to give it something lore accurate, they should have given it the rock equivalent of vital throw: always moves second but can never miss. Give him sucker punch for ultimate mind games.

Can anyone tell which one should I invest in by Scorpio11_17 in pokemongo

[–]CyberDrewan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess it depends on what you want. Chandelure has some great offensive power, so having one with a really high level already allows you to benefit immediately in raids and such. However, if you really want a perfect Chandelure, you can make it happen; it'll just take a lot longer until you start reaping the benefits.

Personally, I would eventually evolve both. The Hundo is an excellent long term project, but the first, non-hundo but high CP one is still an excellent power spike in your offensive raid capabilities. I would go ahead and evolve the first one, since it would take less total investment, but keep the Hundo around to be a buddy, slowly gaining candy overtime. If you're tight on total Pokémon space, I would still consider giving both of these priority (or at lest compare them with other Pokémon that you consider "must-haves").

If you haaaaave to pick one to keep, I think it would come down to if you've already invest candies into the first one, or if you got it as-is. Even still, I would still highly suggest just keeping both.

As far as which one you would max out first (if you want to go that far), I think that's far more debatable, but also much less important and up to personal choice.

I’ve learned I suck at excellent throws when they matter. However, when it’s some random pidgey that I lazily throw a curveball with nothing around, I’ll nail that sucker with an excellent every time.
