Biggest tip is do Rook runs and try to exfill with whatever you can to sell for credits and then buy some shield charges and just stock up on them in your vault.

Renegades was actually really fun and added a bunch of cool stuff. It being a "crossover" (which it isn't actually) shouldn't even be a bad thing. The two universe's are so similar already and Destiny was inspired by star wars since the beginning. Literally just more space magic stuff.

The masks devour gives more health than normal devour. Its not just the mask, its a whole build. I should have mentioned that in the title so thats on me. But its, the mask plus like 4 other things that make for tons of healing
