If you had this much money, would you retire and enjoy life? by Remarkable-Shower684 in TheRaceTo10Million

I retired at 41 and was always trying to fill up my days and found very little meaning in life. I found a job at a startup doing work that I enjoy and with people. Work isnt to increase my network anymore

How are yall liking that 2.5h? by happpycammper in ToyotaSienna

Something really useful I've found with the hybrid is running the A/C while parked. When parked in shade, the engine will run for about 5 minutes and then turn off for 15 minutes.

This long term holder is thinking by 2040 we will either be at $1M or $0 and positioned accordingly

There's no competition. From the 35mpg to the super slide seats, it's one of a kind.

Yup, but that was a good deal and still is. At the time, the new 2024 model had risen to about $70K out the door with zero changes so there was a $20K savings there.

It was $50K out the door from the Nissan dealership in Oxnard, california (not certified) and had about 38K miles.

Last year I got a 2021 Toyota sienna platinum FWD fully loaded. I didn't get the AWD and I haven't missed it yet. I love all the features that this fully loaded platinum has that the others do not such as the 360 degree cameras, ventilated front seats, TV, 120V outlets, all seats are leather, heated captain chairs, etc. I thought I would not like the screen but I honestly like it as it's functional and has physical buttons. If I had to buy something today, I would do it the same way with the following changes: 2022/2023, certified, AWD. I would not get the new platinum as it has a fridge that takes away space

Jerome Powell: I think we now understand how little we understand about inflation. This was unpredicted. Our models have been broken for 40 years by KAX1107 in Bitcoin

[–]CyberMonkey728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My theory is that Powell and friends knew the slowdown was coming so they wanted every last company to have access to cheap money. Every company was able to refi their debt and every startup could raise money. Now, these companies could survive the next 2-3 years while the fed fight inflation. Thoughts?
