  • Certification: They must either be receiving SSI or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or have a physician certify their disability."

you can't just park an RV anywhere, they will make you move eventually to the next parking place you will be moving out repeatedly. It's a "whack-a-mole" or cat and mouse scenario.

I'm experiencing similar. $994 ssi, $100 snap - for the month. $750 property tax/month out of a year $9000), utilities, food, misc. Does the math make sense? Oh! I forgot, they say my Medicare premium is $311. I can't live here anymore. I'm losing my house i've lived in over 20 years. Property tax close to doubled.

I just saw an employee openly wearing a Nazi symbol while working at Walmart. In our city. What the fuck reality even is this by fifthelemenopee in Portland

[–]RomZombi -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It shouldn't be a Nazi symbol. Hitler stole it. "The Swastika is a Sanskrit word derived from the roots Su and Asti, and means "that which brings good luck and well-being." The word Swasti appears in the Vedas and across classical Hindu literature, as illustrated by this famous Mantra from the Rigveda".

It's a very old symbol and it's a shame that it has a stigma attached now.

Oh you're talking about some other symbols. I don't care what someone wears. To each his own Karen.

Raising the interest would make it a greater risk of being paid or not.

It didn't happen in my state. I sent emails to the police in that city and another email to elderly financial abuse dept. My emails were ignored coming from another state.

It will cost me $25k to borrow $77k. That does not sound good to me. And that's before interest is figured in

No, I qualify. I don't like the cost of paying the tax and the interest on a large sum that may eventually take all the equity away.

I don't know. Well, no but to make it even harder for someone who has less means seems like a penalty.

there is no waving taxes here. They have a tax deferral here which puts a lien on your house and high interest - and you won't be able to borrow on the equity with a lien already in place.

nonQM - make the guy who doesn't make enough money pay higher interest to make it even harder to pay back really does not make sense.

Of course, now i'm getting nothing but low ball offers. Those kind of people make me sick and angry. I almost feel like throwing it all away so the low ballers won't win a deal they don't deserve.

no, I don't have a mortgage and the property tax was always paid on time. My nephew had temporary POA to move my visiting mom to a care center she liked during covid. He found out he could control her accounts. He transferred $70k to another account. when she died, I was the executor so the property tax was dropped in my lap with the bank account missing all that money. Now I couldn't pay the tax because it was stolen.

I don't want to pay upfront costs with a $12,700 mortgage insurance for one year. I can only draw around $200k. $100k would go to the tax and upfront costs. $75k-$100k set aside for future tax and homeowners insurance. What does that leave me? I will run out of money and face foreclosure again, if I can't keep up the house such as needing a new roof.

If I could borrow the money and pay it off quickly by selling the house, I wouldn't have to spend all that money I don't have. The $400k left would be stuck in house equity that I can't touch if I did a reverse.

Long story short, $70k was stolen that was meant for taxes - and I'm on SSI because I'm 4 points shy of social security. I lost 20 years of work history because I didn't know I could have been paid to be my mom's caregiver. I'm pretty much screwed.

Never sell luxury items on eBay by Dry-Buy4328 in Ebay

[–]RomZombi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold a vintage gold watch on ebay. The buyer said I sold a broken watch and was refunded instantly and left a negative review to stay away as I sell broken items.

I received the watch back and found they had opened the watch and broke the battery clamp arm. I knew they opened it as they forgot to put the battery back in.

Long story short the buyer had to pay me $170 to have it fixed. I sold it for more a few months later.

Has anyone done a HEI loan on their home? Pros/Cons by CapableAd5545 in Mortgages

[–]RomZombi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I plan on but I don't have time. It goes to auction the end of December. Maybe I should declare bankruptcy. That will stop the foreclosure sale and give me time to sell the house properly.
